All You Need to Know About Action Research Second Edition

As the title states, this book is virtually everything you will need to understand action research. The author is one of best that I have encountered in the field of action research and her book's academic and professional contribution to both graduate students and practicing professionals that I have ever seen. This book is a "must have" for existing and aspiring social science researchers!

As a graduate student, I have read several texts in an effort to learn about action research methodology. By far, this book is the best one I have read. It's detailed explanation of the action research process and use of illustrative case studies makes for an easy-to-understand guidebook for any practitioner interested in developing his or her own action research project.

The year of printing doesnt fit the description and that knock off 1 star. Otherwise a good read.

Underlines the concepts well. Too much time was spent introducing the background of action research.

This is a good text when beginning your action research project. It takes you through all the stages step by step. It's very detailed.

Purchased to assist with a research project for my dissertation. Found the book to be very helpful in organizing my research project.

Be aware that the Kindle edition is not the latest edition. And the Kindle edition does not include page numbers for reference. Therefore, I would highly discourage purchasing the Kindle edition as a textbook - which I'm learning the hard way.Besides that, I find the information in the book valuable, but it takes me a lot of wading through quite repetitive wording between the more useful information. I think this book could be half as long and still contain the same amount of information useful to undertaking an action research project.
