DynaSteam DS2000-WGS Multipurpose Steam Weeder for Outdoor Gardens, Weed Killer with Ergonomic Handle and Trigger Start

I used the steamer to kill the weeds that grow between the cracks in my flagstone pavers. So far the weeds have not returned and it has been over six weeks. It was easy work and took care of a problem that I could not manage with my back and knee problems. Get a comfy chair, put on some good music, and move the wand around.

I was so excited to get this product. It is so small that by the time you do s few weds, you have to plug it in to get the steam level up. I’ve hardly used it and the tong that goes into the ground broke off already. Not durable. It takes up space in my garage.

It creates a lot of hot steam and will kill weeds at the root and sterile the soil from any unwanted bugs but the cord is extremely short and the handle tears up my hand from the ridges on the grip. I also bought the set of cleaning attachments for it. It should have included an extra extension bar because it’s kinda to short to scrub the floor with, it can be done obviously but if you’re taller then 5’3” the floor brush hits the floor at a weird angle making it awkward. Don’t get a lot of steaming time because the tank is pretty small. It does come out powerful so the psi is good. I bought the spinning brush attachment that goes with the ivation steam cleaner, all of the attachments are interchangeable with that brand, I love it!! Makes cleaning counters, tables, the bath tub or stickiness on tile floors a breeze. It didn’t melt like the smaller bristle brushes do. It doesn’t leave puddles of water everywhere like some models do. There’s no carpet attachment but I just held the steamer about 2 inches from the carpet to sterilize it. I mean these aren’t made for scrubbing carpets anyways, I have a carpet cleaner for that. Overall I don’t love it but I’d recommend it depending on what the persons need for it is. Also, I had to buy 14 amp extension cords because of the high wattage. That was an unforeseen expense.

It works, but the limited capacity is such that you spend a lot of time waiting for it to reheat and build up pressure. Zap three or four weeds (one or two if it is a tough weed like thistle), then wait for a minute or two until it's ready again. Quicker to dig up weeds by hand if you are physically capable. Also, the triple-root spike attachment got stuck in the soil then broke when I tried to pull it out. Finally, now seeing the quality of the product, it is way over-priced. Hopefully, the company will come up with a much improved model (there supposedly is a newer version, but it looks the same), or a competitor will emerge. UPDATE. There is an upgrade to the triple-root spike attachment and the Customer Service Rep of Dyamic Solutions Worldwide LLC has promised to send one to me. Upgrading to 4 stars.

I bought it for eliminating weeds in the gaEden but do far, have used it for cleaning the grout of my ceramic floor. Highly efficient. Easy to use. Results great.

I was thrilled to see a environmentally friendly product for getting rid of weeds. The unit is very small for the job and needs to be at least 5 to 10 times the current capacity to be of practical use. With one or two applications of steam, you have to wait for the steam pressure to build up. You quickly run out of water and need to refill. This unit is worth $50 not the $200 that I paid. I encourage DynaSteam team to go back to the drawing board and build something with significantly more capacity at the $200 price point.

I absolutely love this machine if you follow the instructions it works awesome I should just keeping it plugged in and I’ve used it for 45 minutes at one time End it also cleans grout amazingly this is an awesome product

the item arrived and would not work. their instructions indicated the consumer should contact the manufacturer first before returning. i experienced a very disturbing call from an "Ellen" who was extremely rude, acted like i was bothering her for calling and that I was stupid for shopping with Kotula's, insinuated that Kotula's was culpable for the defect, and then hung up on me when i insisted on speaking to a supervisor. To top it off, I called back, no supervisor could be bothered to speak with me, and still have not returned my message. BEWARE this company. Their product is defective and they have no intention of honoring their product

The DynaSteam DS2000-WGS Steam Weeder works well enough killing weeds, but has limited capacity. It works in relatively short bursts before the pressure drops and you then have to wait for it to build up steam again. However, if you are patient, you can kill small areas of weeds.
