Perfect for my new Cadillac Escalade Premium
I am finally at a place in life where I can afford some luxury! I have always cared for my vehicles as if they were my very own children. So when I upgraded from my 2010 Nissan Altima (which I'm giving to my 15 y.o. as her sweet 16 gift in a few months), to my Black Cadillac Escalade Premium with light tan leather and suede interior I KNEW with 4 young children and a husband, wear and tear would be unavoidable after a couple of years. To help preserve, I decided to scotch guard the seats, ceiling, and carpets from front to back. These two cans got me through the entire vehicle with the exception of the front driver seat floor and ceiling. That's ok with me! I will purchase more for the second coat and to complete the drivers side. The smell is VERY strong the first day so plan to do it in the evening so you can wake up the next day and use it without getting a headache. It smells like strong acetone. I've had my truck for roughly 3 months now and not a stain to be seen. It wipes clean with ease. I plan to do this once every season. You won't be disappointed.

Saves buying a $2500 new convertible top
This is the Scotchgard product to get for your convertible top. Whenever mine leaks I apply one or two cans to it and bingo, the leaks cease immediately after the top dries. Forget about getting a new top. It works on the cloth tops, I cannot vouch for the plastic tops, which I stopped buying many years ago. Yes I even use it on my 911 Porsche Carrerra, as well as on the top of my 1996 Saab 900 convertible, neither of which leaks after applying one or two cans of this Scotchgard Auto Fabric and Carpet Protector. Let it soak in until you see it totally saturating the cloth. Should be good for more than one year. Since my garage became corporate headquarters, these cars sit out all day in the Central Florida sun, and would surely leak without this lovely product.

Easy to use.
I sprayed all of the cloth areas in my car, including the visors, door panels, and other areas where leather and/or plastic is not present. This is the second car I have treated with Scotchgard and it works well!!

Time will tell
New truck came with cloth seats. Did not want to spill any liquid which could cause stains. So I purchased this to spray on. Was very easy to spray onto seats. Use proper ventilation with doors open. Time will tell if it works. I think it will.

Great
So I got a new truck. Ordered this two days later and applied it with no issues. The following day my son dumped a container of carry out Italian food on the front seat. I thought it was over. It wasn't, I wiped it up quickly with a rag and was stunned at how easily it wiped out. I'm a believer.

works great
a few days after spraying this on my car seat a cup of water slipped out of my hands. The seat did not get soaking wet. So happy

Not sure it works well
I have not purposely tested this because I sprayed my auto seats. The auto is leased so I am/was worried about the beige cloth seat covers. We are less likely to spill water than say soda? coffee? crumbs? I think it worked for a month maybe when I was able to wipe the seats once with total cleaning. But I certainly didn't do a test of soda or coffee! Because my car is a lease (and I learned when I was leasing it that I will be charged for clean up and repair, even normal wear and tear!) I have to find a way to keep the seats clean. So I purchased finally seat covers because I could not wait to learn if this item was not working after all.
