Magictec Umbrella, Easy Touch Anti UV Unbreakable WinDproof Tested Compact Ultraslim Sport Umbrellas

So I had one of those fancy cane umbrellas, but I ended up snapping the thing in half and decided that I should probably just use a modern umbrella that isn't the length of a small child. I wanted something windproof with snap-back spokes, but beyond that pretty much whatever would have suited me.Ultimately, an umbrella is an umbrella, they shouldn't vary much. What surprised me with this particular one was how cheap this umbrella was priced compared to others with the same features. I won't need UV protection, but I do appreciate the auto open-close.Once I got it, I can confirm it is actually as advertised. Very sturdy - I deliberately messed with it to test it and it passed with flying colors. Weight is great, snaps open and closes automatically as expected, and also retracts easily without me having to mess with it. That's a peeve of mine with umbrellas; I don't want to have to try and close the thing fifty times because it won't stick - no issue here.Handle looks pretty sharp, easy to redo the velcro, button works well. My only critical comment is the handle could be a little longer. I have a normal sized hand for a 5' 10' guy and it doesn't completely run the length of my palm. But that is such a small complaint that it might as well be non-existent.Overall, just buy this umbrella. Don't waste time comparison shopping on umbrellas, this is probably the best you are going to find at and at a good price. Life is too short to be umbrella shopping.

We bought this umbrella for travel purposes. It is a nice compact umbrella that seems very sturdy. It has a nice Velcro tab for securing the umbrella shut, and a corded wrist strap. The button on the handle works fabulously for easy (and powerfully quick) opening and for releasing the hinges for closing. It will easily cover one person, and two people can fit fairly well underneath. As a side note, a fun little feature is how it was shipped. We ordered other items with this, so all items came in one regular Amazon box. However, the umbrella itself came in a little tube mailer that was inside the box. Very cute, and easily reusable for other things if needed.

I looked for umbrellas on amazon, trying to find the best one in terms of price and how well it can keep the rain off my suit in NY. This umbrella is very sturdy, easy to use, and store. There is absolutely no reason to buy an expensive umbrella when this one looks nice, and gets the job done which is what I was basically looking for.It is definitely best of both worlds in price and having an umbrella that won't break in high velocity wind, or wore out fast.

Ordered the umbrella hoping the “easy open” feature would work for children ages 7-12 who had problems closing the pull down style umbrellas without getting fingers pinched. They loved opening this umbrella! I loved opening it! Quick press of a button and it opens with ease. A fun pop open really that they wanted to do over and over again. Really quick release. Another press of the button and the top umbrella portion itself closes, again with ease a really neat feature. The DIFFICULTY came when trying to colapse the umbrella back down to tote size, or returning the pole/handle in from extension. I could do it with a really firm grip and “all my might” push. The 12 year old after failing at pulling it down with hand strength, resourcefully turned the umbrella upside down on the ground and pushed the handle/pole down out of extension to lock it back into tote size. The younger children were not able to return the pole down without assistance. It seems a well made umbrella, with a great easy open/close option. If you don’t need to collapse the umbrella back down into tote size, and are fine carrying it in full extension-pole up, then it is easy. The handle return is hard.

I haven't bought an umbrella for years but the old one finally gave out. I picked this umbrella because of the sturdiness, compact size, mechanics and the price. I have to say that I'm very impressed with quality, especially considering the great price. I live on the southeast coast of Lake Michigan and the wind here is no joke. This umbrella stands up to it well and it seems as though I won't have to buy another one for many years to come.

I lost my previous umbrella and bought this one to replace it, and honestly, it is far better than any umbrella I have ever used anywhere near this price range. Very easy to open and close with the button, ergonomically designed handle, and very sturdily built. Where I work over the summers we often have very heavy rainfall, and I am definitely excited to use this after some of the pretty crappy umbrellas I used in the past. If you're looking for a quality umbrella at a reasonable price, just get this one, you won't find any better unless it's a lot more money (which, with how easy it is to lose umbrellas expensive ones are not worth it).

This umbrella affordable and very sturdy. So sturdy in fact that it can be a little hard to recompress it at times. PLEASE NOTE: the button automatically opens the umbrella fully and it also collapses ONLY the canopy of the umbrella. In other words when you press the button to collapse the umbrella the canopy closes but the arm remains extended. The mechanism is still very helpful though. It is quite portable but not as small as some other umbrellas; still considering its durability not bad.

I was pleasantly surprised by this umbrella. It was such a reasonable cost, my expectations were not high. But it seems great. Feels substantial in your hand. looks good and sturdy. pops open easily. It’s a fairly large umbrella for it’s compact size. I would recommend it. Only giving four stars because it’s brand new. Do not know how it will handle wind and rain.
