Sound Percussion Multi Rods Brush Sticks Black

As the headline states: Hope i just got a bad pair, if they're all like this-WOW! I ord'd a pair of these Sound Percussions & a pair of Zildjian Multi-rods. THE VERY FIRST TIME I PLAYED THESE after maybe 20 mins of playing, the inner dowels started coming loose and protruding unevenly among the rest of the dowels at the tip. I repeatedly had to push them back in after each song. Then (if that wasn't irritating enough), the black wrap handles became dislodged/unglued from the dowels themselves so when I played, all the dowels star sliding out of the handle and I was left holding somewhat of an empty condom ...... I figured i'd just squirt super glue into the base of the dowels & replace the handle.......oh hell, good luck fitting the little bastard dowels back into the wrap handle. Before i get more irritated thinking about how much time i wasted on a pair of dowels, i'll just say, "Never again will i buy this brand sticks." The Zildjians are still rolling strong after 2 mos. Please let me know if anyone has better luck w/these.
