where are they made ?

Seki Edge appears to be the brand name. According to the manufacturer, Green Bell, they are made in Japan in Seki City, which is known for very high quality blades. The Green Bell website notes problems with one of their brands, TAKUMINOWAZA, being counterfeited in China. They are no longer shipping that brand to china as a result.

Has anyone used this for a substantial (more than a year) length of time, and if so, how sharp has it remained? Cutting performance is still good?

I have used the Seki Edge SS-106 fingernail for over a year now and it's still as good as the day I bought it. I have hard, brittle fingernails. I was very hesitant about paying $15 for a fingernail clipper, but in retrospect after over a year of use, I am not disappointed. Cost and quality go hand in hand.

What is the width of the cutting edge?

The standard for finger nail clippers are 3/8" and toe nails 1/2" I have a box full of all types and makes since 1952, and measured those just for you. An 1/16 of an inch here there shouldn't make much difference, the cutting edge and it's longevity is where the emphasis should lay.

How much do these weigh? 0.3 oz in product info seems dubious.

I have a SOG micron 2 knife that weighs 1.4 oz. This feels right at or just below that weight. These are great clippers they say stainless steel but they feel like magnesium in your hand if you are familiar with that feel.
