This water bottle holder mount is exactly what I was looking for! My bike had a built-in mount on the frame, but I used that space for a bike bag, so I needed an alternative solution, and this one worked perfectly.Installation was quick, but because my handlebar has a weird shape, the mount ended up being at some angle, which doesn't bother me at all. I attached it to my handlebar, but it would also work well on the seatpost or downtube if needed. It feels very secure and stable, with no wobbling even on bumpy trails.The mount holds the bottle cage tightly, and it fits standard water bottles just fine. I’ve tested it on long rides, and it hasn’t slipped or loosened at all.The build quality is solid, and the rubber padding on the clamp helps protect the handlebar from scratches, which I really appreciate.Overall, it’s a great solution for bikes without pre-drilled holes or for adding an extra bottle cage. I got this adapter 3 years ago and it finally broke last night while I was out on a ride. Oh well. This adapter is very well made and it does the job of attaching a Ushake cage to my lugless seat tube. Occasionally I have had to tighten the screws a bit and there's one screw positioned behind the cage that requires removing the cage to tighten. That's annoying but not a big deal. The problem is that the adapter is made out of aluminum (AL 7075), and being AL, it will eventually crack. I ride a 1977 Trek touring bike, year round in Wisconsin and I put on between 75-100 miles a week. I always carry a 16oz stainless bottle in the cage. And yes, I will probably be buying another one of these adapters.

My new ebike has the battery mounted on the downtube which really limits where I can put a bottle cage. I tried under the top tube but every time I hit a bump the bottle would start sliding out or just pop-out. This bracket solved that issue. I was able to mount it on the stem and put the bottle in easy reach. I don't know why some have had issues using the spacers. I used the thinnest one for this mounting spot and it holds tight. I have been using it for about the last 60 miles of riding and it just works.

Exactly what I needed to add two bottles to my 1979 Fuji Royale road bike lacking braze-ons. These are well made and hold to the bike very solidly and the bottle to the holder solidly too with a beefy mechanical construction. I had tried velcro-based cage attachments that simply don't do the job. These do it in spades. Plus the attachment can be configured for vertical or horizontal attachment depending on which bar you choose to mount to.

Comes loose quite frequently. Needs a lock washer to be included or locktite blue.

It is so rare when something exceeds our expectations in life. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this mounting bracket for a water bottle cage is. It is cleverly designed, well engineered, well made and reasonable priced. What more can you ask for? I mounted this on my handlebars quickly with no issues. They even include the Allen wrenches. It is not flimsy. It does not slip or slide. The clamp holds its position while holdning a large full water bottle even over bumps. I'm going to get two more for my other bike and for my wife's bike. I couldn't be more pleased. It is an excellent product. I've read that some people managed to break theirs. But they also overloaded it. If you stick to one water bottle you will have no issues.

Great mounting system. Well made and extreamly strong. Just be advised that when used in the handle bar position all is well. When used in the seat post position the hinged mount must be rotated 90 degrees. In this position and absolute dead center configuration is not possible. The bracket will be off center by about 1/8 inch. I was worried this off center anomonly would look goofy. In reality its not that noticeable. I decided that the quality machining, fit and flawless finish far out weighed a minor visual alignment flaw. Thanks to this bracket two water bottles now live behind my seat making long summer rides more comfortable.

Bought this for my wife's bike as she likes her water bottle on her handlebars for rec riding..nicely manufactured - looks like it was machined almost.Solid and clamps well - has not moved in a dozen rides and some minor off roading / hills were involved..Would buy another if needed.

I use this to hold my bike lock under my bike seat. It's a hefty folding lock that is designed to mount onto a water bottle mount. The lock weighs about 3 pounds and found that the screws on this mount started loosening pretty quickly. Used blue loctite on the screws to solve that problem and this mount has been good ever since.
