Beautiful Knife
Awesome blade! I got this for my husband for our sixth wedding anniversary. My only complaint is that the blade was only covered at the top, and put in a bag with the sheath separate. The knife poked around in the box during transit, eventually til the blade was able to hang out of not only the box it was enclosed in, but also the shipping box. My little girl had gotten the package. The blade slid out, but she was calm enough to handle the situation and repositioned the box to carry it safely. Thankfully, she was unharmed. The knife is great, it's not too badly dinged. I think it's a great size for hunting. He cannot wait to use it. Well, balanced, too.

Awesome knife for the money
I got this because so many people said it was so bad, ๐. I'm so glad I got it. Cut right through a 2x4 with no issues except for a chip in the blade because I hit a nail. Sharpens right up. The sheath is Cheap but well done. To me it's worth getting. I've had no issues.

Almost a 5 star
This is a very big knife and a really great one for the price. The only problem is that the finish is a bit rough, mainly on the handle. Some of the pins werenโt sanded flush and you could feel them when you gripped the handle. I was able to sand them down pretty easily and my nephew loved it. The sheath leaves a bit to be desired, but my nephew and I are going to make a custom one. The blade was straight and very sharp. Overall, it is a really good knife, especially for the price.

Good Service & Good Knife
I bought the knife as a gift, its amazing. Its bug, sharp. Knife was in good condition and wven though the original package did not include my sheath. They got back to me almost immediately and sent it in a separate package. Thank you guys. The Knife is good, big, sharp. A dent in the tio but easily fixable. The knife is beautiful in general. The sheath is not the best but gets the job done.

Great Blade
Very well made and toughest Bowie style knife I've ever owned. Shortly after receiving it I used the main part of the blade to split a dried out section of a cedar trunk in two in order to work the pieces into a project I was working on. It held up perfect and showed no mark on the blade at all, even where I hammer on the back of the blade(not with a hammer). I do not personally recommend trying this for your kicks, but it does hold up very well and mine is proof of that.

Wow! I'm impressed
Wow! This thing is a monster. All the reviews are right. It's big, it's sturdy, it's beautiful, it's ugly, they are all right. The style of this knife is attractive. The brass parts shine up really well. All the parts have minor cosmetic flaws. The blade has several imperfections on the top edge, both brass pieces have scuff marks somewhere on them, the brass rivets near the pommel end are unevenly placed, and the fit between the front of the grip and the hand guard is pretty sloppy. I have an $800 Randall Made knife that is perfect, but for $40 I don't expect perfection and this knife is just fine. I look forward to taking this beast out and hacking things up. This one has the carbon steel blade so it should hold an edge better than the stainless model.

Needs Sharpening
Wanted to give it 3.5/5 but I rounded up (TLDR)-Weight, hand feel and look-5/5. -Edge, sharpness out of box- 2/5 There are things I like about it. It has a real handmade look, with little imperfections and not quite symmetrical pommel. I think those things have a cool aesthetic. Flimsy packaging: the cardboard box it was in was soggy with oil it was basically like a loose knife wrapped in a bunch of plastic. I assume the oil is to keep it from rusting in transit, and it's good to oil your blade, but i had to clean oil all off the handle. I don't know if it's due to the packaging or the machinery used to hone the edge, but the edge came damaged, such that you couldn't slide it across a piece of paper without it catching all the nicks. Took a lot of work on the whetstone to get it to a cutting edge. I tend to make my own sheath or scabbard so I didn't expect much from this one. I don't hate it, but I think it's a strange choice because they used genuine leather for the back and some kind of hard cardboard for the front.
