These containers are not the flimsy kind. Wash well through the dishwasher. Great to store food in the freezer.

I purchased the Golden Apple plastic containers for building materials for middle schoolers to make their own vegetable oil lava lamp and their own salting-out rubbing alcohol-water experiments. They worked great as they are clear and large enough for the whole class to see. They are sturdier than plastic bottles but their wide opening made it easier for the students to mix in all their ingredients (and for washing them afterwards). The lids came in handy too (else the activities would have been much messier).Ever since, I've been using them to bring snacks to work. They stack nicely even with the lids on, so I found it convenient to stack them inside one of those 6" diameter document/art tube holders so I can bring a large variety without having to juggle. The only inconvenience is they aren't super liquid tight, so it's best to stick to dry snacks (cookies, trail mix, fruits & the like).

These are a wonderful for storing most anything edible or otherwise. They are durable, excellent value. A must have in any kitchen.

I got these containers to put food gifts in for the holidays. I was a little worried seeing reviews where the lids broke apart, but in fairness I only expect to seal it once and for the recipients to open it once. It would be nice if it can be reused. They are rather heavy since I filled them to the top, but seem to be holding up just fine as I carry them around. I took off a star because 2 of the 10 containers have a cosmetic flaw in the plastic.

Decorated with Christmas stickers for friends trail Mix! Seals great so trail mix will staff fresh until the cookies and candy are gone!

I love these containers. They hold a lot and it makes it easier for me to give food to my kids & neighbors since I often times never get my good bowls/containers back from them.

Microwavable, used for melting chocolates, and easy to clean and reuse. My issue was how they arrived.. all were broken along the top as you can see in my pictures. I needed these for a order I had the next day so I used the ones that weren't as broken. The box it arrived it was not damage which leads me to believe they were broken when packed? They seemed good other than that!

Just what I needed for storage of art supplies and freezing leftovers.
