Amazon has deleted my original review, photos and helpful votes, so here it is again:These plastic knives are beautiful and sturdy, despite being bendable. They cut surprisingly well, through fruits like apples and pears, through shea butter, cocoa butter, bread, and other things. The cool thing is, I can cut an apple into pieces, even while it's inside a plastic ziplock bag, without actually cutting the bag. These knives slice through fruits easily but have no sharp or dangerous edges whatsoever. Even the serrated edges are strong without being overly sharp.I can use these plastic knives for meals, for cooking, and for making homemade skincare products, because I'm hypersensitive to the sound of metal (a difficult symptom of my chronic pain illness). I love these plastic knives- they're totally functional with well designed handles that fit your fingers for a comfortable, no-slip grip. I highly recommend this product to kids and adults alike!

I saw the reviews and thought, “My kids would love having their own set of knives to help us cook meals.” These are worthless. They can’t cut through celery, carrots, or even smoked sausage easily. They slip sideways when being used, which in my opinion is more dangerous than just letting the kids use a real knife with supervision. Please don’t waste your money.

We follow Montessori-style teaching for kids, and bought these for my two year old twins to used (supervised of course). We mostly cut up strawberries right now since that's their go to snack.These knives are really nice!!! Better than I expected honestly. They won't saw your finger off, but be warned they WILL cut your finger - just not as terribly as a regular knife set.Took the kids two or three times of me really getting in there to teach them how to use and hold the knives and food, but they're cutting their own strawberries pretty proficiently now after a couple weeks of practice!Highly recommend these knives. They're probably something I'll use once the kids have outgrown them as well.

My almost 3yr old loved getting her own knives today and she used them to try to cut zucchini, red pepper, and mushrooms. These cut easier thru mushrooms but were much harder to use on the other veggies. She liked them enough but realized right away that they weren’t sharp enough to do everything she wanted them to do so I feel the novelty will wear off fast.

My 7 year old daughter is super interested in cooking, but the one thing she can't help with is chopping! I purchased this set and was skeptical that it would actually chop anything, but it does! Don't expect a fine chop or slice, of course, but kids can definitely help rough chop veggies and protein. Fun item! A+++

I saw this from a list of recommendation for kids. I learned to cook and handle the knife at early age. I was hoping to get my kids excited and helpful in the kitchen but hesitated giving them the really sharp knives.These are hard plastic (I haven't fully tested the durability as we just received and used it today). My older kid is using the biggest knife (he loves green), which is 11.5 inches long (blade and handle). It cut the opo squash without issues. The younger one is using the smallest (orange), which is 7.5 inches. It can cut the red mangoes without injuring tiny fingers.So far, so good... will update this post in the future as we continue to use the knives...

I like the length of knifes, just perfect for my preschool-age kid. The largest size of cusp shape knife can be used by adult. 8 pieces with $10. Great deal.In the past, my kid always use cutlery to cut her banana, strawberry, etc. Time for her to do more serious stuff, but not real one yet. These knifes do a great job.

These are perfect. My little ones love helping in the kitchen and this has safely given them a way to participate even more. The knives work surprisingly well, but wont cause injury to delicate toddler skin.

These are perfect for our young grandkids. They love being able to cut their own food but the set we bought a couple of years ago was way too frustrating because they didn't cut most things;more for wee little ones.I gave them a test drive chopping spinach and while they obviously are the same level as what I use, they are great for kids. I'm going to order more for our RV.

Works great and even better than the blunt knives from our cutlery sets!My kid loves it to help prepare food.I have Only hand wash and haven’t tried to put it in the dishwasher as putting plastic in there always concerns me.

I get there’s multiple knives in this set and the rest are still useable, but it’s a KIDS knives set. My 6 year old is so disappointed one arrived broken. We haven’t had the chance to use them but I already question the sturdiness of them even though they are supposed to slice firmer vegetables.
