My go-to sanding sugar
I’ve ordered this sugar multiple times, to sprinkle on muffins before baking or to add a little sparkle to cakes. I’ve also used it to coat a greased cake pan to add crunch to the bottom of my cakes. The grains are just large enough that they don’t melt away like regular granulated sugar, but not so large that they are distracting. Clean tasting, too.

How To Guarantee That Your Sweet Baked Items Will Utterly Dazzle Your Guests
I love this sugar! I just ordered for the second time and this time, I got the 32 oz instead of the 16. I used it initially for Christmas cookies, which turned out phenomenal. The coarse texture and the sparkle that resulted from baking it gave the cookies the perfect nostalgia factor I was looking for, and my guests thoroughly appreciated it! After that, I developed a wonderful new recipe for this outrageous blueberry almond cinnamon swirl sourdough bread (a mouthful, for sure) that seemed like it needed a bit of an aesthetic upgrade to match its innate uniqueness; cue the coarse sugar! I ended up brushing the top with egg wash, sprinkling with a light dusting of regular organic cane sugar, then topping that with sliced almonds and more egg wash, and finishing it with this stuff. Holy guacamole!!!! We loved it so much, I started doing the same thing with my sourdough challah bread -- another clear winner! I have gotten nothing but rave reviews ever since I started using this product. Every time I make anything with it, it totally steals the show and is gone within 24 hours. Whenever I want to make something that will impress people, I have made it standard procedure to finish it with this sugar. It’s the updo of the dessert world, a serious must-have. I will no longer abide my pantry to be without it. I don’t write glowing reviews on everything I buy, but this product is truly a cut above, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Good but dull
Nice big crystals. Just wish they had a shine on them. They are dull even after baking on top of cookies.
