LUOUSE Vintage 50's Audrey Hepburn Style Swing Party Rockabilly Evening Dress

I am so freaking excited about this dress!!! I was so afraid it was going to be too small, but it fits perfectly. I'm 5'4", bust 34D, waist 25. I ordered a small, hoping against hope that it wouldn't end up too tight in the chest area, and it's not! Glorious!!! Let's see... what else is awesome about this dress... um EVERYTHING.The fabric is decently stretchy and it has a nice thickness. It feels really durable. And it's not see-through, if you're wondering. The zipper glides smoothly and the arm holes aren't super tight. The hem hits me right beneath the knee cap which is exactly what I was looking for. I'm planning on wearing a petticoat with it but I think it still looks dang good without one. I'll include some pictures for you all. Mind, these were taken right after I took it out of the package so it has a ton of wrinkles. I was too excited to iron it first. **Also, the belt I'm wearing with the dress is NOT the one that came with it.** I love that belt, too, but I wanted to see how a white one would look. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this dress if you're looking for something classy, well-made, and cheap. :)

As a whole, the dress wasn't that bad. The material was good quality and it came with all of the pieces that it said it would come with. The reason it is getting such a low rating is when I bought the dress, the picture depicted it as a sun-kissed yellow. I was going to use the dress for a pikachu cosplay, so I needed the color to be pretty bright. When I got the dress, it was traffic-light yellow. It didn't fit and the color was completely off.Pros:The company has since updated the picture of the dress to correctly depict the color.The return was painless. I let them know about the color and fitting issue and they sent me a return label no problem.If I found another item I liked by them, I would order it. It seems that the camera they used captured too much light, making the dress look much lighter. Since they updated their pictures, I think they are trying to be honest about their products and so I would order something else from them. =)

I bought this dress because I was in desperate need of a grey outfit for an event I was attending. It's cute, same shade of grey as the pic. You're getting what you think you're getting. It fit me ever so large, but with the belt it was ok. It's nicely lined so I didn't have to worry about a slip (the fabric is thick anyways). However, after washing it, it became SO wrinkled. Unbelievably so. I ironed it and ironed it and it refused. Barely yielded any wrinkles after ages of work. It became totally unwearable! I'm not one to refuse an outfit because of a wrinkle or two but this looked like it had just been chewed by a cow even after my many I roning attempts. I didn't try steam, but I don't believe it would've helped. I had to get rid of it! But at least I got to wear it for it's intended moment.

I received my dress after two days of ordering. I ordered a Large, although I usually wear between sizes 8-10 in clothes. I am glad that I decided to go with the large. The dress is a little snug under the arms and gives a little room in the midsection. It may look more flattering on someone with a bigger chest than mine (I am a 34C), as this is one of the features that it accentuates. The material is somewhat heavy. I would say suitable for any season. I prefer dresses that aren't flimsy or cheap-looking, and this dress definitely suits my taste. It is a stylish and flirty. A petticoat would compliment the flare of the skirt and give it a less clingy appearance.

This dress definitely was NOT the color that was advertised in the picture. It was more of a mustard color than a bright flowery yellow. It came very wrinkled and I have yet to get the wrinkles completely out. There are absolutely no washing instructions provided, so I'm assuming its okay to wash regularly. Not quite what I expected, takes ALOT of effort to get out the wrinkles, but fits well. The side zipper sometimes gets stuck at the halfway point and my husband needs to assist with zipping it. I did get compliments when I wore it but would not purchase this type of dress again. Glad I bought it on sale and not for the original $150!! No way is this dress worth that much.

The size chart next to the drop-down size menu is incorrect! I discovered after returning that there is another size chart with different measurements in the product description. According to the size chart, my measurements would have just fit one size so I ordered the next size up and it was still too tight. Super-cute dress but it runs very small. I am reordering in the next larger size, two sizes larger than what I would normally order. UPDATE: Received the dress in the larger size and wore it to glowing compliments from friends and strangers alike. Get the purple!

It's a really beautiful dress. I love the color and the fabric is very nice... BUT be forewarned, it runs *really* small. I am 5'5 and about 172 pounds... measurements are 40 chest , 36 waist, 45 hips.... according to the chart I should be an xl... I ordered the 2x because of all of the comments I read. The waist and hips fit me great, but the chest is *very* snug.... like unflattering squished-boob snug. Also, for anyone taller than me, it is definitely cut on the petite side. the waist hits about an inch too high on me and the length is just at my knee level.

I already upsized when I ordered but it was still small. The dress would not zip up. Also, it came hopelessly wrinkled and there were so many loose threads as if it's rushed. I had to return the dress because I wasn't happy with it at all. It was also shorter than I expected and the material is not appropriate for an evening dress. Another dress that I ordered at the same time came with it from the same brand and it was perfect.
