The XL was just about right for a UK size 12 as the elastic waist is quite stretchy. Received a pretty pale pink instead of the ivory. The red dye runs so needs to be washed and rinsed well before wearing. They do have some ragged edges beneath the elastic which becomes apparent after a few hand washes but, at this price (£35 at Dec 2016), these satin silk bikini style undies can't be expected to have the same finish as more expensive brands. They're light, comfortable, easy to clean and ideal for a touch of luxury underneath your holiday wear!

These briefs are made of a satin finish natural silk material with pretty lace side panels, and are excellent value at the current price (£43 for eight). The colours are bright and clear, matching the illustration well except that one pair was supplied in a completely different colour. The small size fits the same as high street size 10, the waist measuring 28 cm, stretching to 45 cm; the leg opening 22 cm, stretching to 31 cm. They may be a little fuller in the seat than some size 10's. Very comfortable to wear.

Beautifully made however they are not true to size , I wear a 16 normally , XXL is too small . Also I did not receive the colours that are in the picture.
