It is very nice looking. Holds my cleaver in the wide slot (has two) but does not hold a set of steak knives (maybe the other reviewer only has a set of 2 steak knives). As another reviewer noted this only has one size slot to hold scissors but does have smaller rounder slot which isn't the right size to hold my sharpener but may fit another type. Works alright in combination with my other knife holder. I would rate it 3.5 stars.

I love the idea of the bottom area being open. Lets any residual dampness from cleaning it dry off, but it's too short! Our largest knife I believe is standard size, but it hits the bottom of this knife stand.

Store new knives . Probably would have bought it any way. Does what it is intended to do.

There's not much that can go wrong with this product; it is a wooden "R" which holds kitchen knives and scissors. It does what it was designed to do with no issues.

First, it's bamboo. A naturally occurring product of mother nature. It has a beautiful natural wood finish, smooth to the touch. Enough slots for any knife in your kitchen. I think the only one that won't fit is a meat cleaver. There is even a spot for my kitchen shears. Talk abut planning. The smaller slots are perfect for paring knives (yes, I still have the one my mother used), and there is plenty of room for the steak knives. Everything in one place. No more sharps in the drawer or hanging on the wall. Instead they are all together in this beautiful bamboo piece on my counter. I'm just sorry I didn't find it sooner. I don't know how durable it'll be - we'll see.

I really like this knife holder,I have hoped to have a holder that allow the air go through the holder body and this is it, this makes the knife dry and stay dry. Besides, It is beautifully made form natural bamboo and very designer looking. If you want something that looks classy on your counter but don't have room for the big clunky knife blocks, this is the one! And the price is very good too.
