Perfeft for the little one

I absolutely love these. They are the perfect warm low light for my 3yo. I was having problems where leaving a lamp or the landing light on meant she was taking longer to fall asleep. I tried so many different lights before I came across this one. It is perfect it doesn't affect how sleepy she is at all. I have one in her room and one in the hall!

I'm not too sure about these attractive little lights. Yes, they're very easy to use, just plug and play, but a couple of days ago I tried one out in our downstairs hallway and it came on at 3:30 in the afternoon (sunset was about 5:30) and didn't switch off until about noon the next day before switching back on again at about 3-ish. Okay, it's been pretty gloomy lately, but during the day there's been plenty of natural light in the hallway. I think it's because the small light sensor is hidden away at the side behind the triangular light and in our case is pointing away from the sources of natural light. So, a bit too sensitive, perhaps? That aside, I think it would work well as a child's night light or in a fairly narrow hallway as the fact that you have to plug them in does restrict the places they can be used. But if you are after a couple of night lights for any reason these are economical for anywhere that gets a lot of natural light during the day, attractive and cheap to buy. UPDATE: We've had this in our hall for a couple of weeks now and when my wife unplugged it recently to use the socket and didn't plug it back in I really noticed how dark the hall is at night, so it works well without you really noticing.

This is a review of AUROLITE Pack of 2 LED NightThis is a pair of 0.3W LED night lights. They plug into a normal three pin socket and come on when the ambient light falls below a certain level. These are not motion sensor lights and will stay on for as long as the ambient light is low - they turn off when you turn other lights on, for example.As you can see from the pictures they are triangular with the light coming from the edges of the triangle. Thus the light comes out upwards and downwards, rather than towards the viewer.At 0.3W they are not very bright. I found them fine for illuminating the hallway at night when my eyes had dark adapted. Not so good to show me the way when I've just turned off the main lights and am going to bed.The measurements are given on the product page. I found that there was no problem in using them in a double electrical socket. Some other users have, so I guess double sockets do not have standard spacing between them. A few seconds with a ruler will let you know if you're going to have a problem.The light is a dim warm yellow/white, and not the harsh blue/white of fluorescent bulbs. It's easy on the eye.

This is a pack of 2 little plug ins which light up when the sensor on the side of the unit reads that its dark. The light is very dim and does not give alot of light but does give enough to light up the area around the plug unit and would be a small comfort light to a child or would give a little light in the hallway for an elderly person. The issue I have is that they are a good 2 inches in width and so in a double socket you can only have this plugged in as there is little to no room to plug anything into the socket next to it. Great if in a single socket or you don't need 2 things plugged in at once in a double socket. Otherwise its a good idea and will be useful no doubt.

These are two plug-in lights that come on when the sensors detect a certain level of darkness. They have a triangular design and there is a little strip of light on each of the three sides. There is a decent glow but not hugely bright. They would be ideal on darl landings, hallways, children's rooms and anywhere a little extra light is welcome. They are supposed to last for 25,000 hours usage. Measuring L: 9cm, W: 7cm, H: 9cm. 0.3w warm white. Designed to be energy saving. Reasonably priced for the pack of two.

These are excellent nightlights that do exactly what you would expect. Great light up in the hallway for little people to find their way to the toilet. The only reason that I have not given them 5 stars is that when I have them plugged in I am unable to use the plug socket next to it becuase they are quite wide! Which is a little annoying as I have had to buy an adaptor that means that the nightlight is 'off' the socket.
