A1 FFCs - Flex Ribbon Extension Cable for Raspberry Pi Camera - Black 60cm/2ft

I have tested these on both a camera and BTT Pi TFT screen with great success. They do their job perfectly and provide more than enough reach for most 3D-printer projects.

I bought this to give me the freedom to reposition my Raspberry Pi camera on my 3d printer. I had to bend it over a few times to make it neat, and even unbent and re-bent it another way when I repositioned. The cable still works flawlessly!I love the packaging, it comes rolled up on the inside of a section of PVC pipe that is then shrink-wrapped. A very cleaver way to protect the cable during shipping!

This PI Cam cable worked well and had a good price. What was equally impressive was the packaging! The cable was spooled on itself and then placed inside of a short piece of PVC pipe. This kept the cable spooled up and protected it from any shipping damage that might have occured in the padded envelope in which it was sent! Great idea and this extra packing step got the product to me without in great shape!!

Original cable was too short. Used this instead. Works with BTTs screen just fine!

ribbon came coiled inside what looks like pvc, plenty of protection for shipping and works great. used for running from raspberry pi to a camera i have set up for printing.ribbon measured 22.5 inches (57cm) though so a little short of advertised.

Well the only reason for 4 vs. 5 stars is that the ends are not well reinforced so when punishing the ends into their slots, it is easy to kink/bend the ribbon cable and I could only imagine if done hard enough can cause failure. If they would have a bit more reinforcement, it would have given it 5 hands down, the color and length and even the quality is top notch.Thanks!

I added a raspberry pi and octoprint to my 3D printer setup to monitor, upload, and control prints. To use a pi camera add on I needed a longer flat pin cable and this one (bought2) was the correct length and as always, Amazon got it to me in 2 days! It’s working great and I’m pleased!

It's been working great for several years, despite having things dropped on it, being crushed, and being right next to machines that cause a lot of electrical interference. It's great for getting a better angle on an octoprint camera.
