Stylish and functional for the most part.
Looks nice, protects what's under it for the most part. Still burns/melts like any other carpet when an ember lands on it.

Did not hold up as true hearth rug when a ember fell on it burned right through. Do not recommend

The course but tight weave is a little hard to vacuum wood debris but it fits my location well and has a nice pattern. It's comfortable to kneel on (better than a hard floor)

Definitely Fire Resistant
Rug is just like the picture although it seemed smaller once it received it. Pay attention to the dimensions. It definitely does its job, I’ve had a few wandering sparks fall on it and it didn’t catch fire . Just a small burn hole that is barely noticeable.

NOT DURABLE
The rug is very attractive. One week and one amber later-burnt right through the rug. A $10 rug would serve the same purpose. Would not spend $50.00 on this rug again.
