Not to my knowledge, unless a substitution has been created. The Yosemite coffee pot comes with the plastic version.

does this top fit the farberware 47053 12 cup percolator?

I have the 8 cup percolator #50124 and it worked fine. 50124 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005NCWQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you select the 12-cup model on the Amazon page above, for the model I have, it comes up as #47053, but is not listed as a "Yosemite" model, whatever that means. I don't always trust the pictures to be accurate, but they do look the same. Maybe the 12 cup top is larger, but I can't tell. I measured mine (8 cup): the replacement black ring is 2" diameter, the top of the glass part is 1" diameter and rises 7/8" above the ring. If this is the size of your percolator top, it may be a good fit. Otherwise, contact Farberware.

Is the rubber ring made of silicone, and if not, does anyone know of a replacement that uses silicone instead of commercial rubber?

it's neither silicone nor rubber.. it is made of plastic. it does not come in contact with any liquid so you do not have to worry about chemical leaching.

What is the outer diameter of the washer? I see the inner diameter, and the height of the bulb, but not the OD of the washer.

With a standard measuring tape, I measured 6 inches around the outer diameter of the washer.
