I have been a fan of Boris Vallejo's fantasy art since I purchased one of his calendars many, many years ago. When he began to work with Julie Bell (Who is now his wife), I continued to buy his calendars as well as his numerous book collections. This volume, Imaginistix: The art of Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell, has many of my favorite fantasy art paintings by these two amazing masters.After a brief introduction by Irene Gallo, art Director-Tor books, we are treated to the art work done for calendars, advertising agencies, book covers and other painting projects. I love all their work but the following are a few of my favorite fantasy paintings in this great volume.
