One of the reviews said they are the same quality as the store bought ones, so I was excited to try them. They are not even close to store quality. They fall apart really easily and the foam is much less dense. I went through 4 of them while applying one coat of polyurethane to a closet door.Picture - store bough brush is on left, this brush is on right.

These brushes break down almost immediately on the edge and leave black dots all over your project. I was using one to put a coat of mod podge on a 1 foot square piece of layered cardstock... 1 brush did not last one coat - I tried three of the brushes, thinking maybe I just picked one bad one out to use... Nope - black specs galore on my light blue background. Just spent an hour scraping them out - which then messed up the mod podge, and thus - my project.So, I’ll have to basically start over - and since that square took me a couple hours to create - these brushes really cost me time and materials...I have used other foam brushes purchased at the hardware store with none of these issues. These are just cheap and useless.Save your money!!!

Works perfect for me. I make cutting/servimg boards with exotic woods. about 18 x 13 inches. After all sanding done, I can just use one brush to place a foodsafe varnish to do 4 or 5 at a time. Goes on very smoothly and evenly.No issues with them seperating or any problem. Sturdy with the light pressure needed to apply the stain.. Then just toss. 40 cents and no clean up. Selling the boards anywhere from $60 to$90 dollars, so cost does not matter.

This is my third time buying these and I will probably buy them again, as needed. I have been using these foam brushes for staining and varnishing. They have held up very nicely, but of course I only use them on one day and let it dry up to dispose of it. They have stayed on the handles, handles have not broken and the sponge has not pilled off (leaving little black spots) or spoiled my varnish in any way. (Which is a problem I have run into when buying at a box store.) I have found that if I want to keep air bubbles to a minimum, that I need to stroke it on, on the long side, not on the bevel.

I redo old furniture using vintage furniture paint. Foam brushes work better with this pain than a regular paint brush. I like the convenience of ordering these from Amazon and they are better quality than what my local store carries. I would highly recommend.

These were the perfect coam brushes for my project of apply U-40 cork sealer to the handles of my fishing rods.I was able to do all 10 rod handles with a single brush. Then I washed it in warm water and I can probably get a few more out of it.Based on the reviews of some other I had some doubts about the durability of these brushes but I have had no issue although my application was lightweight.At this rate for my application, this pack of 25 of these brushes is going to last me a Long time!

I actually used this product to put grout cleaner on my grout because it would keep the cleaner on the grout and not get all over my tile. The foam brushes came in a multi-pack but I only needed to use about two or three of them although I have a large house with a lot of tile flooring.

I bought these to apply engine brightener to my 2018 Harley Fat Bob's black crinkle paint. If you are heavy handed with them they will rip but that's because of the roughness of the paint on the engine, they are still well made. You can bend them to whatever angle you need as there is a plastic inner that can be bent into place, they are also cut to a point which is really great for getting into tight areas. I will definitely be buying more of these, at this price you can afford to be heavy handed and just buy more. They are great value for money and I can highly recommend them.

I paid the 'extra' for these 'high-density' foam brushes rather than the 'regular' ones, thinking they might last a little longer than the rubbish versions I've bought elsewhere. However, I found they didn't really last any longer than past purchases BUT, and it's a BIG BUT, when they got tired they DID NOT fall to bits and give off black foam particles as others do. At £14 for 26 - they're not cheap for a disposable item I went through quite quickly but I'd get them again just because they don't ruin my work once they've expired.

Used this to apply shellac. Easy to clean cause I just threw them, very easy to apply shellac with. The only downside is that the wooden stick would start to poke out of the foam, not sure if this was just normal wear or alcohol breaking down the foam a littleDefinitely order again for a one off job.

My friend recommended these to me after she painted the whole of her Kitchen using just these foam brushes, so I tried them and they are brilliant.

Working as advertised. Very happy with these foam brushes. The foam is much denser and better than the cheaper versions. Well worth spending a little extra to get a superb finish.
