For the longest time I my Mini was in the dark underneath a speaker stand that was behind a mixing board. Now it's back in view with plenty of fresh air to breath and sights to behold. Sorry, I love my computer, that's all. I can 't understand some of the negative reviews. Maybe there are some QC issue at the manufacturer. I didn't find any flaws on my mount that were covered with black marker, and the mount fits a Mac Mini perfectly. As far as scratching from the metal mount is concerned, I don't plan on removing and replacing the computer that much at all so there shouldn't be any scratching. You'd have to torque pretty hard and yank at the wrong angle to cause a scratch on the computer with this mount. Computer slides in nice and easy, no scratchy. I for one am satisfied with the mount I received, and the installation was a breeze. I used my own screws because the ones provided were too long for my purposes, but that's not the fault of the manufacturer. I can't address any issues one reviewer had about screw holes not matching up to a VESA mount, the holes on the one I received measure properly for 75mm and 100mm VESA mounting. I'd buy another.
