Do i put the rice in the pot (using the cup) and then add the water to the mark in the pot? or do i measure the water to the mark and then add rice?

You use the included rice cup to add the rinsed rice to the empty pot. Then, you add the water to the appropriate level line.

Can you use it with car power using a inverter?

I wouldn’t buy this for anything, it chips on the inside very easily after only 1-2 uses. Paint and metal coming off in the bottom inside of cooker.

Does this leak water onto the counter when cooking?

Use this weekly and have never had water leak. Love this product❤️
