Braswell Jelly Pepper Green, 10.5 oz

I love this product but it is very difficult to find in stores now for some reason. My British friend taught me a wonderful appetizer to make using thin gingersnaps spread with cream cheese and topped with green pepper jelly. I couldn't wait for the jelly to arrive so I could have a favorite treat. Much to my disappointment, when I opened the heavy amazon envelope that was quite large I found the jar in a tight bubble wrap envelope. As soon as I opened the bubble wrap flap, I knew there was a problem, as it was sticky. What I found was that the jar had leaked. There was a small dent in the side of the metal top. And the vacuum seal in the lid was popped. Needless to say, I won't be using it. Sadly, I also won't be returning it due to the no return policy on grocery items. FAQ says the product will be replaced or refunded but there's no way to contact Amazon to do that. Surely a box with bubble wrap/peanuts inside would have been a better option. What were you thinking Amazon? I really would like a new jar. Or a refund would work, too.

I have purchased this item many time from the grocery store and loved it. I had a hard time finding it so decided to order from amazon this time. Well, it had a good taste BUT it also had little slivers of clear plastic in it!!!! Needless to say I threw the jar away and will not waste time ordering it again because I can’t just take it back to a store so I’m stuck with it!!

Braswell’s came highly recommended by a friend. Now, I highly recommended Braswell’s Green Pepper Jelly.It truly is a perfect blend of competing sweet & spicy flavor. It’s not too spicy, & not too sweet.Smother some cream cheese with pepper jelly, add your favorite crackers (Triscut Thin Crisps my fav), & serve at your get together. It will disappear quickly. Thankfully Braswell’s comes in a larger than normal size to keep your family/friends satisfied.

Want a jar of green jelly - Don’t accidentally pick up green MINT jelly. You want to get this green PEPPER jelly for holiday snacking. Pair with red pepper jelly on a brick of cream cheese. Or all year long - top a burger or egg sandwich.

It was used with crackers. The cost was too much I found the same brand in my grocery store twice the size for 3.99.My store was out because of Christmas.

Was excited to buy this as I had great memories of eating homemade pepper jelly growing up in NC. This was nowhere near that tasty. Okay, but nothing to write home about. Flabby and kinda plain.

This is a middle-of-the-road pepper jelly. There is nothing fantastic about it and the locally available options are much cheaper, and taste the same, if not better.There is nothing wrong with this brand, it is just over priced IMHO

Jelly is delicious. Product was poorly packed causing lid to loosen, allowing jelly to leak inside package.
