The price is reasonable and there are few other options for replacement scratcher discs. Unfortunately they simply fall apart quickly and the debris spreads everywhere as tiny pieces of shredded cardboard. Having several cats using them daily creates extra daily chore of vacuuming and sweeping up the pieces. The cardboard is so flimsy and thin that it creates a dusty material that settles on furniture and upholstery - generating even more work to maintain cleanliness. I don't understand why they have made them so much weaker than the original inserts. I have quit recommending these to my kitten buyers.

I was so pleasantly surprised by these scratchers. The arrived in their own box and wrapped in plastic, so they were well protected from crushing and rain. The size is perfect for our circle scratcher toy, and so far they've held up longer than other ones I've purchased. Super happy with these and would definitely buy again!!

I've tried a few brands and some have just shredded so easily. With this brand I put one in the toy about 4 weeks ago and it's holding strong. I have 2 kittens, a big cat, and a massive sized boy that all use it regularly and it's holding up very well regardless of their attempts to destroy it. Lol. We all love it!

My most active cat loves her scratch pads, and she goes through them kind of quickly. She gets incredibly excited when I replace them, ripping into them with renewed vigor, as if it's her sworn enemy - it's really adorbs!When I remove an old one, I always turn it over to see if the other side is unused (we've got 3 holders for these, it's hard to keep up with how and when I've changed them out). It's great that you can use each of these twice.

We use this as an insert for a heavier round cat scratcher, of all the scratch toys, posts etc that our cat crew have this is their favorite.

I bought this as a replacement for one of the toys that has a little ball that spins around and has the scratcher in the center. It worked great.

My cat loves them so I will buy, $3 a pad,, lasts about a month is a small price to pay for her happiness but I do feel there is a bit of price gouging. Recycled cardboard should/could be half the price.

Our family cats and our foster cats just love these scratch pads.

My cat dint even play for 30 min. It has now become another piece of furniture in my house. Don’t buy it.
