Thick, Excellent coverage. botch free stain. No smell unlike the other stains available in the market.After drying has a very slight linseed oil smell on the wood and left a nice natural oiled finish on hardwood before appplication of seal coat. Accurate color as shown in the tin. I used it on Acacia wood

I had done a white stain previously on my kitchen cabinets but want something to make them darker with out it being over bearing! This stain did just that!

Been using this stuff for years. My favorites are early American,dark walnut, and kona.put up cedar on my patio ceiling. Smooth sanded tongue and groove. Used varathane ultimate spar satin over it.the early American looks awesome on cedar. Trick is light coats on cedar with stain sponge. Smooth surface cedar wood will allow you to lightly stain wood.with the satin poly on top wow, just wow! My patio is 30 ft by 11 feet. Now the wife's begging me to put the smooth cedar trim around the patio windows as well she loves it so much. Yes I'm old school. Separate stain and poly are the only way to go. And the results are worth it!
