Chat Pack Extremes: Fun Questions to Spark Entertaining Conversations Cards – January 1, 2012

Kind of boring questions. Not horrible but I wanted this for a "friends" get together adn we know each other pretty well and a lot of the questions were kind of shallow and boring. But we just picked through the deck to find questions that were interesting.

I purchased both this Chat Pack and the Stories Cards version. They arrived in timely fashion, well packaged, in good condition, the case was sturdy & the cards well made. However, I found that several of the topics were covered by both Chat Pack versions. If "day at the beach" was a topic this one would be "What is the best day at the beach you've had?". The duplication plus the lack of "extreme" questions turned me off. In the end it is more about the people than the question; some questions might spark some good conversation in one group while leave the room quiet in another.

I've seen the normal version of Chat Packs before and thought it was pretty dull, which is why I purchased the "Extremes" version. I got it today and flipped through the cards and let me tell you something...these questions are extremely boring. Examples:1. "What is the highest award you've ever won or the highest honor you've ever had conferred upon you?"2. "What do you think is the saddest song of all?"3. "What is the farthest below ground you've ever gone?"4. "What is the lousiest task you've ever been asked to do as part of your job?"5. "What is the clearest answer to a prayer that you've ever received?"-_- Pathetic. I'm returning this. It was a waste of money, plus the case it came in was broken.

Ordered the original Chat Pack and thought we could get some more conversations going with Chat Pack Extremes. Open up dialog with those you thought you knew and helps with getting to know new people at a gathering. We use them after large meal gatherings - when you don't want the conversation to turn to politics or something else negative.

Keeps the chat coming! Small enough to carry in my purse or briefcase.

Fun conversation starters, especially for kids. Arrived on time and as described.

Kids had fun asking questions at party.

Bought these for class trips with my students and long road trips with the family and the topics are great conversation starters. Everyone gets really into the topics on their cards and it makes long trips much more bearable.
