Is been looking at much more expensive options but decided to try this out as an entry level but of kit to see if its actually use it as planned. I think it's very good value for everything you get and the monocular is good and much easier to carry than a comparable pair of binoculars. My only disappointment is that the focal range is quite limited. Nothing closer than about 30ft and then only a tiny bit of adjustment after that for everything to infinity. Basically it has one setting with a little bit of fine tuning. That said it works well just not quite how I imagined. In terms of a phone camera I've got a heavy duty case and I simply can't get the monocular on the lens. I suspect the phone attachment onky works on naked phones or cases with a wide camera cut out. I would have returned it except for the fact that I was otherwise pleased. I'm going to use another phone for planned photography and tests with that are promising.

First, speedy delivery from Amazon - ordered on Friday, free post, due Wednesday but came after lunch on Sunday! The lens kit is such a good fun addition to my smartphone camera. I bought it mainly for the telephoto, which allows you to get much 'closer' than is possible by just using the 8x digital zoom on the camera (which only crops the original full-frame shot, so the image soon becomes 'jaggy'). The example photo was slightly zoomed in, partly because there was a tiny bit of vignetting (dark corners) which is removed if you use the 2x setting on the camera. The bird feeder was about 8 metres from the camera. It's not as sharp as a zoom lens on a DSLR, of course, but then it doesn't cost between £200 and £2000!. It would certainly enable some fun close-ups in a holiday setting, where the extremely portable kit plus phone is much easier to carry than my DSLR. The other lenses were nice, too - I especially like the macro lens, as it gives really sharp images and fill the frame with an object about an inch wide. The fisheye lens gives a fun effect, and the wide angle would be handy, but my Mi A3 already has a good wide angle lens, so I don't need it. Then there are all the other bits - a handy tripod, carry bag, cleaning cloth and lens caps, plus the bluetooth remote shutter control. That device alone is a valuable part of the kit. It paired with my Mi A3 instantly and I'm sure I will use it with the phone on a tripod when I need a still camera and want to catch several shots at the exact moment without jogging the camera. It's useful, even without the lenses. All in all, there is so much included for the money, it has to be great value. If you want sharper images, you need to spend 10 or 100 times the money. [Edit] I added the two pictures of a little house, to test the sharpness, distortions and magnification. The close-up one was taken with the telephoto lens and the distant view (which shows the car I was standing next to and so indicates the field of focus from close to distant, as well as the original size of the little house) was taken after just removing the telephoto lens and not changing the MiA3 phone camera setting at all. By measuring between two reference points on the house I estimate the magnification is about 11x - not the 18x claimed by the manufacturer. Not that it matters that much as it's only a cheap, fun, 'toy' at £22 and the house certainly seems a lot closer than without it, so it's still useful. In the telephoto shot quite obvious chromatic and spherical aberrations can be seen towards the edges, but the centre is surprisingly sharp. To see details in the limestone blocks at such a distance is quite satisfying.

The big lens is quite heavy. Perfect size to fit in a small bag. Image good. Stability is good. Works on all phones

First I bought this for the telephoto lense, so that’s all I tried. It’s so fiddley to get to set up (I tried for 2 hours with out much success). It won’t sit flat on an iPhone XS as the phone camera protrudes on the back. Issue number one. The clamp doesn’t hold it in place at all. Try shifting the camera in the clamp to adjust (as it’s designed to do) and the clamp shifts and you have to start again. Adjust the focus on the lense and the clamp shifts. This is all assuming you ever got it aligned to begin with. Oh and every time it’s “shifts” either intentionally or not a nice rubber grease is left on your phone’s lense that takes a lot of effort to remove. When you might just get it aligned and focused it’s the picture it takes are so fuzzy and pixelated this whole product is hardly worth it. Not a lot better than just doing a digital zoom. Every shake in your hand is magnified and the lense itself is so long it makes it that much harder to stabilize. You want two hands to hold and focus the lense but you can’t take a picture that way. Overall not worth it at all. Just not practical. Try fitting this lense out in the wild. The sun will set before you get it right. And good luck “pre setting” it as it will almost certainly shift out of position when you go to use it.

I don't quite know how to review this item, on the one hand it is very good value for money and does exactly what it says it will do. The lenses are of good quality and give the results you expect from macro through to telephoto with the additional convenience of being able to use the main body as a handheld monocular with a magnification of 25x. In conjunction with the camera zoom, distant subjects can be seen very clearly indeed. The macro lens is particularly good for photographing tiny objects up close, filling up the whole of the phone screen clearly. On the other hand, I was a little disappointed with the materials used for some of the accessories. The eye cup was misshapen being made of plastic and not packed very well and needed a small amount of heat to rectify. The phone mount is of the spring loaded type and doesn't inspire confidence in holding the unit securely especially when the telephoto lens is used so I will be using my Zeadio one instead along with my Amazon basics tripod,both of which are of very sturdy construction. The remote shutter button unit supplied,is however one of the better ones I have come across and supports what appears to be several functions. It is very important to read the instructions fully before using the unit as you will not be able to fathom it all out otherwise! In summing up I am very happy with my purchase considering the price I've paid for it, its shortcomings not withstanding, all of which can be lived with.If you require a more sophisticated unit then you can expect to pay a lot more,but for taking on holiday etc, this is a sound and inexpensive investment. (By the way, the camera app suggested is very interesting as it possesses some quite unusual filters and is definitely worth a look).

I really did not like this set and as a result have returned it. The zoom lens uses a completely seperate attachment clip compared to the other lenses, meaning if you want to take them all, its bulky in your bag. The lens quality is also not very good, its barely better than just using the digital zoom on my phone. Thats after fiddling a lot with it to find out which camera it needs to be over and how to get it perfecly centered on that camera. On top of that I was unable to try the macro lens at all because it was shipped attached to the wide angle and between three people! none of us could get the two seperated One big concern of mine is that on top of the poor visuals already, the lenses only have covers on the wide side, meaning if loose in a bag the inner side is completely exposed and with enough time will become scuffed up. The only way to protect them is to put each lens into its own little bag (not provided) or somehow wrap them up? My phone is an iPhone 11 and is better off without this kit, so if your phone is any more modern than that i would give this a pass. I had hoped this could serve as an upgrade to my phone when i didnt want to carry around my heavy DSLR, but unfortuantely I suspect most of these sold will be destined for the back of the misc tech cupboard, or landfill.

Los lentes tienen gran calidad y vienen en un estuche que los proteje de golpes.

En mi trabajo visito viviendas y necesito fotos panorámicas en muchos casos. Con mi iPhone 8 no conseguía ese propósito. Este conjunto de lentes me va a ayudar mucho en planos lejanos y en los de detalle. Vienen en una funda de neopreno con un mosquetón para llevarla colgada. Dentro, las cinco lentes vienen cada una en su funda individual de goma, perfectamente protegidas. Echo de menos que cada funda tenga algún distintivo en color para poder identificar la lente de un vistazo, en vez de mirar las pequeñas letras que traen grabadas. El conjunto pesa, parecen de muy buena calidad. Al sacarlas, compruebas que la carcasa es metálica. La imagen es perfecta y la pinza -también de metal- ajusta muy bien sin tener que retirar el bumper protector que protege el teléfono. Encantado con la compra. Comprada un domingo, llegó al día siguiente.
