My First Holy Communion Hardcover – Illustrated, March 1, 2010

My grandson just received his First Holy Communion. I looked all over for presents for a boy. The majority of this type of product is geared to girls. I finally went to Amazon where I should have started! Found this book, looked at some of the pages, and bought it. It's perfect - not too "bookish." I'm very pleased.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to give a beautiful First Holy Communion book as a gift. Beautiful quality and a nice size.

Great book for a child's first communion gift.

I got a book I expected

A book like this is obviously a GIFT for somebody having their first Holy Communion.So how disappointing to receive a copy with a huge sticky bar code 4" by 2" rightin the middle of the dust jacket of the book!I have been spending hours of precious time trying to remove this extra- sticky ugly bar code from thebook's cover. It's stuck on good, and when a bit gets peeled off it leaves an ugly stick gray residue on the cover making an otherwise beautiful cover ugly & sticky.Whomever stuck this sticker barcode smack in the center of the book has ruined my gift! I sure hope I can fix this in time for the important occasion.What a shame. Otherwise, the book is lovely and would have been an appropriate gift.If they had to place a barcode, why not on the back cover?I am so disappointed by this lack of consideration.
