This was a good size little bench for the shower it looked nice for the few months quality of it wasn't that great it was nice and steady like you before hundred pounds and sit on it but I mean after a while it starts molding and it starts having a weird smell not worth the money

Not sure why so many are complaining that they can't fit things on it, as it is a "stool" not a "bench." If you want your butt to fit along with products beside your butt, order a shower bench instead. This is advertised as a stool and that is exactly what it is. If you need to stash products, put them on the bottom shelf that it comes with. Was very easy and quick to assemble. I ordered it because I just recovered from knee surgery, and about to go through another knee surgery. I also have a broken foot so this little stool has been a life saver for me. Now, in Texas a majority of folks have incredibly hard water. Some of the hardest you'll find on the entire North American continent. Having hard water does tend to settle into the grooves of this stool, so I highly suggest getting some kind of nontoxic clear coat spray and spray it or varnish it after every 10 showers or so. Mine hasn't gotten moldy yet, but with the coating quickly disappearing from mine due to my excessively hard water, that leaves the opportunity for mold to become possible. For now, I just have been thoroughly drying mine out in the open air after each use. The stool is great for the price. There are more aesthetically pleasing stools but they are pricey, so I was really glad to find this one. The quality is there, and the feet are nice and grippy in my shower with no issues of slipping or sliding.

Note I am not using this for its original intended functions, instead I wanted a small water-proof/tolerant shelf to hold a UPS up off the floor of my basement in an area that could wind up under water if the basement were to flood due to heavy rains, or failure of my sump pump or because a water line might break (which has happened previously). This item is perfect for this alternate usage as it is water resistant and offers a nice amount of extra height below the UPS that is now sitting on top of it. It is nice, stable, sturdy, and perfectly sized in terms of the amount of surface space it provides. Also fairly nice on the affordability scale. Just nothing not to like for me, except, uh, a little bit of splintery surface on the edges of the top portion (the bench top). If not for that, it would be perfect in my book. In reality, getting one of these without some minor splinters may not be that easy. Just the nature of bamboo wood. (I've gotten very familiar with bamboo wood as I had a large growth of it in my backyard that I'm continuing to eradicate on a more permanent basis.). In board form it still tends to be a bit fibrous/splintery, no matter how much you might work on sanding and smoothing it out.

Strong, well made, looks great. I have 2 more of these benches. This one is a size larger. They are the very strong and last a long time for us. These guys even throw in a few extra parts in case you drop one under the porch! :) Much stronger construction than any other stuff I've had to assemble.

This product is cheap! It is bamboo on top and waterproof but the bottom is made of a different quality or material because after three and a half months it is rotting from the bottom up. Also boney butt people shouldn’t even think of buying this product because it hurts the pelvis to sit on it.

So I read a lot of reviews on this product, and the comments was mixture of love and hate. I love this shower stool! First I'm a plus size woman and its very sturdy. Also the bad comments was about molding. It does get pretty humid in my area and the shower I use it holds a lot moisture. So I opted to just use a little clear fingernail polish over the screws just in case of an issue. It works trust me I've had zero problems and I've had this for a few months before this writing review.😊

Bought this cause our shower is soooo small and I was getting bigger and bigger with my pregnancy, showers were getting more and more uncomfortable due to swelling and standing. This was a lifesaver, being able to sit and get some weight off the feet’s! Still works wonders now that baby is here and showers with mama, I can sit with him in my lap. Only giving 3 stars cause the wood starts to deteriorate and pain starts chipping off over time with how much water it takes on. The assembly was easy though!

A doddle to assemble. Literally took me about 10 minutes. All the holes line up perfectly and you get a couple of extra screws/nuts just incase. Nice clean finish. Quik tip: if you're not familiar with DIY, you might get a little confused when you are using the nut washers. If you do not hold the nut washer with a pair of pliers on the inside, both the nut and bolt will keep spinning simultaneously. The idea is to keep hold of the nut with a pair of long nose pliers with one hand, and then using your other hand, use the allen key to tighten the bolt. Hope that helps!

Easy to assemble by a person with limited DIY skills! Sturdy and good quality. Excellent value. Would recommend.
