The notebooks arrived in their plastic wrap with the covers more bent and out of shape than most of my notebooks are at the end of the semester. The colors are a bit off, and the designs seem more childish in-person. The rough paper quality actually broke the ballpoint of my pen while I was taking notes, which got pretty messy. The pages bend at the slightest touch. There's something about how the paper absorbs ink that makes extra-fine lines look really bad. If you're really particular about stationary, these notebooks are not for you.But! If you're a pencil person, marks do erase almost completely with a high-quality eraser. If your main problem is ink bleeding through the pages, that hasn't been a big problem. The rings haven't broken or snagged in my whole 2 weeks of owning these, but no guarantees. I like that there isn't a lot of space wasted with margins, and there's no perforation. They're fine, if you don't need the notebooks to last or look nice, and if you're not worried about your pens breaking.

Update:::::::::: I’m now using these notebooks. I like the hardcover. The pages inside feel like they are made of reprocessed paper. But, the actual printing is as of what a journal would look like. Time will tell in how durable the leafs of paper end up being. I’ll come back later to let you all know.This is absolutely the perfect size notebook for journaling. I’ve begun a new lifestyle eating change. I write what I eat and drink, my moods, what I do during the day and perhaps the weather. Th hardcover will allow the notebook to remain in solid shape by the time I’m finished writing on each page. It also can fit in most purses. I would recommend buying these since each cover is a different color.

I use notebooks all the time to jot down thoughts, ideas, etc. Through the years I've tried many different kinds and styles of spiralbound notebooks. What I like about these is that they are just the right size, not too small nor too large. Am glad I stumbled across them out here on Amazon! I'll definately be buying more.

Attractive covers on these notebooks, and they are the right size for the job. Gave as a gift to my wife, who is an architect, to take notes on the job. She needed something sturdy that she could carry around to construction sites and keep a record of meetings, site visit observations, etc.

Perfect to take places, small enough to drop into a bag and pull out when needed. The quality is good, the paper is a bit flimsy but I love these and will order them again.

The notebooks are the right size, the cover design is attractive, they were double wrapped to protect them during shipping. Only thing I didn't like was the covers weren't laminated, but the advertisement never said that they were.
