Quiet Riot s performance at Frontiers Rock festival 2018 marked the band's first-ever concert in Italy and what a hell of a show it was! With the entire club shouting and singing and calling back the band on stage at the end of the show, Quiet Riot literally took no prisoners, offering the crowd a superb selection of their greatest hits plus a very special surprise in Thunderbird, a song from the multi platinum album Metal Health that the band never performed on stage in its entire history. The lineup featured original member Frankie Banali on drums, bassist Chuck Wright, who has been involved in the band since the recording of Metal Health . Alex Grossi on guitar who has been in the band for 14 years and the new singer is James Durbin, who was on 'American Idol' during the tenth season. Quiet Riot are stronger than ever, in perfect METAL HEALTH and this unique live performance shows a band which is still at the top of their game!

James has brought life back to QR!
I can't say enough positive things about Quiet Riot's new frontman, James Durbin. He's an absolutely stellar performer - a natural on stage and fantastic at drawing the crowd into a performance. His voice and extreme vocal range (4 full-voice octaves, folks) are seriously second to none, with insightful and mature musicality to round out his skills. I love this DVD, it's a treasure!!

👎👎 Don't waste your money.
The only thing that is "Quiet Riot" in the band and on this stage is Frankie Banali. I know Kevin's vocals are a hard act to fill. There's only 1 Quiet Riot voice. This guy is not it. James Durbin is a good singer, just not what I was expecting in this band. The band sounds like an above average garage band at best. The music is flat. No more fat, 1 guitar, Randy Rhodes sound to the band, for those who know what I am saying, if you can remember the 70's-80s version of the band. This is not it at all. The front of this band on stage, has no stage presence either. I get why Frankie wanted to keep the Quiet Riot name out there and keep the music going. After all, the show must go on. But this concert, shows me a band that shouldn't be out there as Quiet Riot. A tribute band at best. The newest studio CD has a ton of mixed sounds added in to give the Quiet Riot sound studio wise. But live in concert, where you can see and hear the raw unmixed sound, this a very disappointing DVD. I run a Yamaha 7.2 surround sound system with a Lg High Definition 60" screen. As a "Live in Concert" DVD/Blue Ray collector, I'll keep it, but will probably never play this one again, unless requested.

Thank you guys for keeping rock n roll alive
The band is on fire. James is the real deal. Frankie's like a machine on the drums, entire band is stellar. Thankful so many bands from the 70s/80s keep going. Once these bands stop then there'll be nothing good worth going to see in concert. Just watch these dvd's over and over.

I threw it in the garbage.
I've seen better performances on street corners. Do not waste your money. Seriously. I thought it was so bad that I couldn't think of anyone to even give it away to. I threw it in the garbage because I didn't need a coaster.
