I bought this license plate holder after my existing one had been beaten up several times by the car wash. This plate holder looks fantastic and has saved my license plate as well as retained it’s good looks for several months now. I purchased a set painted patten carbon fiber frames and I was extremely disappointed. I found these and purchased 2 in Matt Black and I can’t express how happy I am with the purchase and the product . These are the real deal. Carbon fiber. If you want the real look of carbon fiber, you have to buy the real stuff. Painted just doesn’t do it. I can’t speak on longevity and how it hold up because I’ve had them a day. Easy to install & looks great. I returned another metal plate frame and decided on this one due to salt/rust possibilities with metal. I'm satisfied with the carbon fiber cover, but if you can buy from a seller other than Blvd-LPF.com do so, their customer service/return policy stinks.

Very thin, came with some knicks and dents, but glossy and does the job for now. The bolts holding the frame already mashed the carbon fiber so I don’t see this lasting very long.

I don’t usually write reviews. In fact, this is my very first one. I have purchased numerous carbon fiber accessories for my vehicles over the years and the majority of the ones I have purchased online have been so horribly made that I just trashed them. The old adage “you get what you pay for” is usually the case. This carbon fiber license plate frame is absolutely beautiful and 100% real. It would have been ten times the price if it had a Tesla emblem on it and I bought it from the dealership. I wish every sale could be this great. Made in the USA, as well! Get these while they last. As long as it doesn’t get damaged on the way, you will not regret it.

Looked great for the first month. After a while I noticed the coating coming off. I contacted the manufacture and have heard nothing. DO NOT BUY. It will not last and there is NO product support. It is even listed as a high return product.

REAL carbon fiber, well made, looks great!

It feels a bit more lightweight than I thought it would be. And the red color is one that appears to have some black added to it. It does have a black stripe through it and that part looks great. If you are particular about the color, ordering online may not be your best choice.

Arrived perfectly. Zero defects in the gel coat or the weave.Edited:Bought a replacement as the first one I purchased didn't survive the winter very well (peeling gel coat).The replacement is not carbon fiber, but a sticker laminated on an aluminum plate and clear coated by rattle can. Tons of dirt inside the clear coat and quite frankly a very misleading product description.

It’s a metal frame with an obviously fake looking carbon pattern paint. You can see in my photo the pattern partially on the back side. It is some sort of heavy steel that will rust out 100%.

I'm not a fan of most LP frames but this one is a nice subtle accent. And being made of real carbon just = braging rights. And yes for those wondering it is real carbon fiber.

This plate frame was not actual carbon fiber but was metal. It still looks fine and somewhat real until you get close. Just so you know in case you are expecting an original.
