We bought this to use on our marble island and countertops. It was easy to apply and wipe down. Seals beautifully and protects for a long time. Just be sure you have the weather to open windows for ventilation.

The sealer itself is great. It applied quickly and easily with a pump sprayer and absorbed into my bluestone without any need to wipe or roll out excess. It did not leave a haze on the stone, as the instructions warned might happen. We've had a couple of rains since and it seems to repel the water well. My only comment, and it's an important one, is that the coverage is about 20% of that advertised. The quart-sized bottle is supposed to cover up to 1000 sq. ft. In fact, it covered only about 200 sq ft, even when I was careful to apply it lightly.

Two weeks ago, I had new granite counters installed in my kitchen during renovation. The counters were not sealed, and every spot of water showed, and every bit of oil stained the counter (I was able to remove with soap and water). I asked ChatGpt what the best sealer was for my dark gray counters, and it suggested Miracle Sealants 511. As they suggested, I tested a small section to make sure it wouldn't darken the granite (and it did at first: but after following the directions and wiping off, it returned to the original color). I completed sealing all the counters, water beads up beautifully, and I couldn't be more pleased. I plan to make this at least a yearly maintenance task to keep my counters looking beautiful.

So, I got this in mail for some reason rather than a normal Amazon delivery. The product had leaked - about 1/3 of the bottle was empty and the box was reeked of evaporated product. The leak happened at the cap. I jumped through a bunch of hoops in the Amazon return process and got a full refund without having to return the 2/3 full messy bottle. But, since I had 2/3 bottle, I proceeded to use it on my counter. It seems to have done a really nice job. Hard to really tell since I just applied it, but it seems good. It does smell like paint thinner or something, but based on the product warnings I was expecting much worse. I opened some windows and it was fine.

Used this on a newly installed shower. I used a quality paint brush to apply. Goes on easy.Has a smell but not overwhelming and disappears after it drys completely. I put three coats letting each dry before applying another . Slightly darkened the grout wile applied but lightens as it drys completely beads water well. I would recommend this product.

My project: Clean and seal a basement floor after the cats had decided the didn't want to use their litter pan. How much did I need? Approx two quarts for two coats over approx 700 square feet. In other words, 700 sq. ft. per quart. Does it work? Yes, so far. Water beads up beautifully on both the tile and grout that have been treated. It's only been a month so far. How easy was it? Application was easy, but not the cleaning. This is a penetrating sealer, so any stain you leave on the tile or grout will be permanently sealed in. I cleaned the floor by: 1. Spot-cleaning the worst spots (cat pee, yuck) 2. Scrubbing the entire floor by hand with a stiff brush 3. Used a copper wire brush to scrub off the top layer of the dirtiest grout 4. Wiped off excess soap 5. Mopped twice to ensure no soap residue that might interfere with adherence of the sealant Overkill? Maybe, but I wanted to do this right the first time. For 700 sq. ft., It probably took me 20-ish hours to clean, and only 5-10 to apply two coats. Cleaning was the vast majority of the work. The application process: Easy, but a bit tedious I have 12x12 tiles with approx. 1/4 inch grout. That's about 1,500 linear feet of grout (my best guess). Used a small children's paintbrush and carefully painted over all the grout. After each application, waited 5-8 minutes before wiping off. My tiles are completely matte limestone, and so easily soaked in any excess sealant left on the surface. I just had to buff the excess into the face of the tile, and it would soak in nicely. If I had glass or other glossy tiles, I might have had to wipe off 100% of the excess, which would be much more difficult. The Result: Dry to the touch in hours, started walking on it in a few days. Water beads up fantastically and wiping up is easy. The tiles have a *slightly* but barely noticeable increase in the glossy finish after having dried for a few days. The cats haven't peed on it yet, so I don't know how well it will truly work. Recommendations: 1. Ignore the square footage guidelines. What matters is how much *grout* you have, not how much *floor* you have. 2-inch tiles with 1/4 inch grout will need a massive amount of sealant. I had 12-inch tiles so didn't need as much. Make your best estimate and then test before buying what you think might be the right amount. 2. Test a small section first to see how much you need. My tiles and grout were very "thirsty" and soaked it all up easily. I put two coats everywhere, and a third coat on the most heavily trafficked section. Test your tiles first. 3. Use disposable equipment. Latex exam gloves, a plastic cup, cut-up T-shirts and a child's paintbrush were all the supplies I needed. This stuff needs mineral spirits to clean up, which is a major hassle. Disposable = no cleanup. 4. Knee pads! You will be kneeling on a stone floor for hours. Good luck.

My granite kitchen countertops were absorbing liquids and becoming stained sometimes. They have become 100% waterproof after using this product.

Very good product.Got this to seal my slate floor.Easy to apply very natural finish and stops the slate flaking.In the bath area applied on the granite floor it works as a sealant and gives a subtle roughness to the surface making it less slippery.

Wow, I followed the instructions and applied a coat of this sealer to a brand new marble chopping/pastry board, I let it completely dry and then added a second coat. After it had dried again, I poured a little water onto the marble, it was sealed completely. Marble is very porous and without sealing will absorb most liquids and leave behind an unwanted stain, now I am confident as can be that any spillages will just sit on top and wipe away with ease. I am more than happy to fully recommend this sealer to anyone that needs to seal pretty much anything.
