Works great for 4'10" woman, and its adjustable. Good value, nothing to assemble, lightweight.

I got a pair of these hooks in order to reach cordless cellular shades that I couldn't reach standing on the floor. They work perfectly: the hooks pull down the pair of handles to lower the shade, and the cradle sides push up the base to raise it. As an added bonus, when I hold them diagonally out to the side, I feel like a superhero. (Still waiting for the Avengers to call, though.)

My bedroom closet has an upper rod that's only reachable by a tall person, which I am definitely not. Until I bought this long reach stretch pole, I only used that rod to hang out of season clothing. This long reach stick pole essentially doubled my closet space because it easily hooks onto hangers on the top rod, allowing me to lift clothing onto the pole and remove clothing in the same way--no ladder required. Now both rods are easily accessible. Its slim profile makes it very easy to use. It's extendable to the height needed and easily collapsed back, so it stores easily. The only downside is that the extension doesn't really lock, so it sometimes collapses back when I'm trying to put something away, but that's a very minor flaw.

Very pleased with this purchase. This pole Does Exactly as I needed it to, in retrieving clothes hanging from an upper closet rod, near the ceiling. It does not seem super strong but I do believe as long as it is not abused it should last many years. The manufacture does state the weight limits of this pole. A shirt, sweater or pair of pants would not even come close to the limit. This has Proven to be a very helpful and essential part of my closet. Also, check your box carefully as I almost missed some of the small parts that are almost hidden in the shipping box.

I have an L shaped desk in my home office which blocks access to one of the windows. I can't reach across the diagonal in the desk to close the curtains, it's just too far and my desktop computer is in the way. I store the stick behind my monitors, which allows me to grab the stick, close/open the curtains and replace the stick, all without having to stand. The stick feels very sturdy and is lightweight, women should have no problem using it one handed for moving curtains, probably need to use two hands if you are using it to put up or bring down clothes in an elevated closet. We have just that in our master closet and I may get a second one for my wife to use there; she currently uses a ladder and said she doesn't want a stick, but perhaps after she "almost" falls once she will change her mind. All in all, I am very happy with the product!

This pole telescopes fine, the hook works well and is light so it is easy to maneuver, but because it’s so light it can’t be used for substantial movement of heavy curtains or such. The hook can unattach easily if rotated. Good for light work and didn’t really break but not for heavy duty use b

It feels a little cheap, but it's been holding up just fine. The hook is perfect for pulling the blinds down so I don't have to stand on the couch. The u-shape on top is wide enough so I can push the cordless blinds back up. Somebody thought they came with the blinds they were such a perfect fit.

Ordered two rods to help draw down two-handled top-down, bottom-up shades. The shades hang 8 feet high so these rods are very much needed. Works perfectly! Am very pleased. As a side note: USPS attempted delivery of the initial order but was unable to because their was road construction at the time and an email was sent from the postal service that there would be a second delivery date. Two weeks later I called USPS to find out the status of second delivery attempt. Was told package was returned to sender. That was disappointing so I contacted this seller and they did fulfill my order once again. So I am also impressed with customer service.
