How to i connect the ne5532 2.1 preamp and this board to home theatre? if even possible

I don't think that you will need a preamplifier with this board. This board already have a gain booster circuit on board. Actually I had to do the gain fix mode because the hiss. And if you are trying to use this with your TV just split a 3.5mm headphone cable to the included stereo cord that it comes with the tpa3116d2 and plug it into the TV headphone jack. Now days most all TVs have an EQ on audio settings. YouTube.

Do I power bothe the left and right side with 12 volts. I'm a novice powering my subwoofer.

No your supposed to wire vcc to 12 or 24 v for power and gnd for ground the left and right are for speaker out put not
