So... I bought a couple of these years ago with the intent of never having to buy another scrubber for my cast iron. The plan worked well - great longevity and zero problems. Then COVID came. The situation was dire: fighting the Walmart goblins for TP and water was daunting enough, let alone the larger orcs hoarding eggs. I had to do something... but what?Hatching a hasty plan, I bought fifty more and had them delivered with Prime. Then I carefully linked them together to form a ringmail coif and shirt! Not to be too suspicious, I wear it under a hoodie. The weight is manageable as is the heat. I'm not much of a seamer, but I'm comfortable and safe knowing that I'm more prepared for the next encounter.You know what? It worked! Now I easily triumph over the goblins at Walmart when fighting for toilet paper - their puny nails cannot hope to penetrate my armor! The orcs fair no better, and I actually managed to best one who attacked me when grabbing the last loaf of bread. My family can now eat and poo in peace... thank you!!!

This is a fantastic product and I highly recommend it. I was having a hard time washing my cast iron pans. It works incredibly well to remove the burnt crud or any other remaining residue without soaking! Quite convenient and it seems very endurable!

I've gotten really big into using cast iron over the past 6 months - so I figured this was a no brainer to have. After using it multiple times, I can't say it works that great. I put some good elbow grease into using it and there are still patches of build up in the pan it just doesn't remove. I've returned to just using a regular brush and water and it works better - save your $$$ this is more of a gimmick than a useful product.

i originally bought a pre-seasoned Lodge cast iron pan. I did not like the surface, so after watching multiple youtube videos, I sanded the bottom of the pan to bare metal and then seasoned it properly. So it is now where it ought to be. I had cleaned my pan by scraping with a wooden spatula, then with warm water using a paper towel to clean before wiping dry with a dedicated cloth. This gizmo knocks out a step - the scraping - and is much more efficient than the paper towel (where I would sometimes cheat with handsoap - never detergent!). The warm pan is a good start, then the warm water and this thing (gently). Definitely easier after cooking vs waiting till next day. It's true, it doesn't harm the seasoned pan surface. And then wipe and dry..all is good.

This little low-profile kitchen gadget has made my life indescribably easier. I never even knew there was such a tool out there, and as a result, my cast iron pans have suffered for it. I've only used this a few times, but already I can see the results. Not only does it clean them very efficiently, but could it also be that it's further burnishing my cast iron?? I fried an egg on one after using it and it was better than any non-stick pan I've owned (and cooked more evenly too). This thing was WELL worth the money I spent on it!My only minor criticism is that as I'm using it, it feels like the links in the chainmail have gaps. This might not be a problem (and might actually serve to better scrub the pan), but my concern would be that if one of them blows, the whole thing will come apart. This hasn't happened at all, so it is pure speculation at this point.

I switched away from aluminum cookware awhile back and purchased my first chainmail scrubber. Great for the wok and other steel products too! Powers through stuck on bits of food without clogging and cleans up beautifully. Staying with a girlfriend and had to buy one for her.

Did you make a mistake and leave the iron in the sink overnight?Did you burn something to the bottom of the pan?Do you need to scrub the heck out of something?If yes then THIS is the tool for you.Miles ahead of a scrub pad or even steel wool, this thing will tear all the built up crud on any frying pan ya got. The little key ring attached is great for slipping through your pinkie and for hanging it off a nail / hook and letting it air dry.Its light enough to even pack with your camp kitchen equipment (no more scrubbing pans with pine cones or rocks)Buy one (or two if you camp), you wont regret it.

Great product. Cleans the cast iron with ease. Leaves the seasoning, and it can be thrown in the dishwasher coming out sparkling clean. Looks interesting hanging as it looks like chainmail and decorative using some imagination.

There are much cheaper ones on Amazon. Just as good quality. Also Amazon make this very difficult to return unless you live in an urban setting.

Love this. So much easier to clean my cast iron with and doesn’t strip it of it’s coating! I just wash it after with the rest of my dishes and hang to dry.
