WHAT A GREAT IDEA, SIMPLE BUT INVALUABLE IN CLEAN-UP OF DISHES AND COOK WARE
I saw this product when I first started to use (new) cast iron cookware. You definitely do not wash cast iron as you would other cookware but you do want them clean. In the beginning I was a bit puzzled about how that could be done. I purchased this product and it completely answered the need. While not scratching the cast iron, it goes after any and all food (whether cooked/baked on or just slightly hardened from dinner plates etc.). Using it as I would a cloth, it gets the job done every time. What an ingenious but inexpensive idea. If you use cast iron cook ware or have other cleaning needs for which you might grab steel wool or a nylon sponge, this thing does them all. Once I rinse the cast iron ware after using this, I let the cookware dry and put this gadget in soapy water for a quick wash and rinse. It is something I would have purchased literally decades ago if I knew about it. Highly recommend.

Cleaning cast iron just got easier
I inherited my grandmother's cast iron skillets. Due to the amount of time she last used them and I acquired them, there was quite a bit of rust. This made cleaning the rust off so much easier and did not take the seasoning off the pans to my amazement. Cleaning the chainmail was done in the dishwasher and it came out just fine. If you never had cast iron pans before and don't know how to clean them, this will make it so much easier on you and will keep you from taking the seasoning off. Highly recommend!

Exactly as planned!
So... I bought a couple of these years ago with the intent of never having to buy another scrubber for my cast iron. The plan worked well - great longevity and zero problems. Then COVID came. The situation was dire: fighting the Walmart goblins for TP and water was daunting enough, let alone the larger orcs hoarding eggs. I had to do something... but what? Hatching a hasty plan, I bought fifty more and had them delivered with Prime. Then I carefully linked them together to form a ringmail coif and shirt! Not to be too suspicious, I wear it under a hoodie. The weight is manageable as is the heat. I'm not much of a seamer, but I'm comfortable and safe knowing that I'm more prepared for the next encounter. You know what? It worked! Now I easily triumph over the goblins at Walmart when fighting for toilet paper - their puny nails cannot hope to penetrate my armor! The orcs fair no better, and I actually managed to best one who attacked me when grabbing the last loaf of bread. My family can now eat and poo in peace... thank you!!!

Great scrubber
Great scrubber. One thing people should watch out for is leaving it in a sink with a garbage grinder. Since it is slick, it tends to slide into the drain. You won't see it happen if you are running water in the sink with pots over it. Next time you run your garbage grinder you end up with hundreds of small broken apart rings which cannot be removed easily. Forget about trying to use a magnet to get them out because they are stainless steel and non-magnetic.

Indispensable tool for the cast iron cook.
Did you make a mistake and leave the iron in the sink overnight? Did you burn something to the bottom of the pan? Do you need to scrub the heck out of something? If yes then THIS is the tool for you. Miles ahead of a scrub pad or even steel wool, this thing will tear all the built up crud on any frying pan ya got. The little key ring attached is great for slipping through your pinkie and for hanging it off a nail / hook and letting it air dry. Its light enough to even pack with your camp kitchen equipment (no more scrubbing pans with pine cones or rocks) Buy one (or two if you camp), you wont regret it.

Step up your cast iron cooking game
I almost exclusively cook on cast iron. The chain mail scrubber has helped me to better maintain the seasoning on my cast iron by reducing the need to scrub stuck on food residue so hard. The chain mail doesn't scratch or dig into the seasoning layers like other methods of cleaning or leave paper/cloth residue. Great product!

The best every day cleaning method!
I bought this for my mom, a woman in her 80's who has been using cast iron cookware for more that 70 years. She sings it's praises and literally said "it's the best every day cleaning method" for cast iron cookware. Her vast experience tells me that she would know. Isn't experience the best teacher? She also said it's really easy to use and easy to clean afterwards. I don't personally own any cast iron cookware, but if I every do ... this product is a must!

Durable and used for portable firepit
Bought this for a different purpose. We have a portable fire pit and found out we can use wood pellets to build fire. Someone from a fire pit forum recommended to use stainless steel chain cleaners. I bought several and lined our firepit. And oh my goodness, it served our alternate purpose and itโs super durable. We are so happy with the purchase and light up the firepit on many nights. Highly recommended!

MUCH CHEAPER ONES ON SITE SAME QUALITY.
There are much cheaper ones on Amazon. Just as good quality. Also Amazon make this very difficult to return unless you live in an urban setting.

If you use cast iron, you need this!
Love this. So much easier to clean my cast iron with and doesnโt strip it of itโs coating! I just wash it after with the rest of my dishes and hang to dry.
