Good Rug For Not Showing Dirt . . . .
This is nice and soft, but not the prettiest of rugs. The yellow is not very bright and it has a whole lot of gray. I think it's great for some place where people might be tracking in dirt. The rug wouldn't show it. I got it for a room, though, where I needed to cut it down. I wasn't sure how cutting a rug would work, though, since I've only cut carpet. It turned out this rug actually had indented lines on it every two inches. Perfect as guidelines for cutting! It didn't unravel when I cut it, either, although I'm sure the makers would never suggest you do so. I'm using a Miele, with no roller brush, to vacuum, and Surya always suggest not using roller brushes anyway, just carpet sweepers and brooms. How old-fashioned. But I see Amazon actually carries carpet sweepers and they have hundreds of reviews.

Kinda cheap.
It looks ok i guess... the mustard color really is a orangey mustard color. The quality of the carpet isnt that great. Its a low plush and just feels blah under the feet. We ended up thinking about it for 2 weeks and finally decided that it wasnt for us.

Instant room transformation
Buying a rug at a place where you can actually see it is difficult enough because what it looks like in a store isn’t going to be what it looks like in your home. I’ve never ordered one online before for that reason plus the colors and patterns shown in a photograph usually aren’t even close to reality. But I saw the picture of this one and immediately thought how good it might look in one of my rooms which is kind of a hideaway reading nook sunroom. The room is painted a pale lemon/lime color with light oak wood floors and paneled ceiling and has a pale green leather sofa. Any rug used in that room would have to have yellows and greens as the predominant colors and add focus without diminishing from the soft relaxing atmosphere of the room. Not easy, I’ve searched for such a rug for a long time. This one is nicer than it looks in the photo and though mass produced it is well made and looks like it can stand up to everyday wear and tear. Most rugs I own are wool, cotton or other natural fabrics and this one is not, it is 100% synthetic. I think for that reason it is a bit over priced but I am willing to accept that if the look is right, which it is.Keep in mind that this is an economy area rug, not a high quality carpet. It is very thin and the backing is adequate but not very substantial. I don’t like thick high pile rugs so the thickness doesn’t bother me, but thin rugs (especially larger sizes like this 5 x 7) don’t lay completely flat and probably never will. Unfortunately the unique design on this one only serves to exaggerate the little bumpy rolls which over time do flatten somewhat but are there again when you walk across it.One more comment on the unique pattern, while the colors and design are perfect for the room I’m using it in, it is highly prone to an optical illusion that one end of the rug is much darker than the other. In fact at certain times of the day depending on how the light hits it one end can look almost white while the other end appears to be almost dark gray. It’s a look you will either like or not.

Beautiful rug, even covered with toys :)
Beautiful and plush abstract area rug. Someday when the kids are all grown, I will love this rug in our upstairs loft. It has a great textured look and the colors are neutral while also bringing in a happy golden yellow (mustard just isn’t a pretty word). This rug came wrapped very well and packaged in a sturdy box. Because of it’s segmented structure, it unrolled and laid flat immediately.

Thin and unattractive.
Let me be direct. This is a fairly well-made, but very unattractive rug. I had hoped that the photograph had made the colors oversaturated (as often happens with rugs I've bought online), but not a chance. I'm not sure where it would look good, frankly. But, color aside, this rug is fairly thin, and even using furniture to weight down the edges, the curl is pretty stubborn.

Great looking in my mid-century decor!
I'm slowly converting my home to a med-century modern feel and this is just perfect. I've go a smaller eat in kitchen and this fits under my 30" x 60" table with just enough room to spare around the edges. I't got lots of mustard and grey with cream. I don't really see much of what I would consider brown but it pulls great with my walnut wood floors. It's 100% polypropylene and a thinner rug. It has no backing on it so it really does need a pad, even if it's medium weight, underneath it so it won't slide. I tried it without the pad for the first few days thinking the table would be heavy enough to keep it in place and I was very wrong. I ended up being able to push my table and 6 chairs around easily. It's got enough going on in the rug that I'm no worried about showing any stains that may happen. Between my dog and a good carpet cleaner I think I'm fine. (famous last words I know)It takes about a week for this to settle down as it's not weighty enough and comes rolled so the edges stay curled for a few days. I put a few heavy books on the corners and it didn't take long for it to flatten out. The cut pile is soft enough and if it were bigger I'd love this in my family room. It does not come in the size I'd need in there unfortunately. Turkey is famous for their rugs and even though this is mass produced and synthetic, its still beautiful. Overall, I'm pleased with this rug and Surya is a well respected rug manufacture/importer.

My third of this kind
These are very pretty rugs and the designs are unusual. The only thing I don't like about them is the binding along the edges, which is just stitching. For a few bucks more some binding tape would be a lot nicer. They are about as durable as you'd expect for the price point. I have one in the middle of a room that gets a lot of traffic and looks okay after several months of fairly high use. I wouldn't put them in front of a door.
