Wish I had found these sooner. I was using pet waste bags for disposal. These bags are amazing. I can fit 3 in one bag and there is no odor after disposing. The huge quantity is great too and very reasonably priced. The bags are no opaque but that doesn't bother me since I only use these at home. I care way more about odor control. It can get a little rough on the nose sometimes waiting for trash day to arrive.

Good bags. These are identical to all of their similar bags in size. I keep a roll in my infant's diaper bag and it saved us on Easter Sunday when we had a particularly awful blowout at the Grandmothers house. Diaper and wipes in one bad, contaminated clothing in another. Tie them off.They seem to control odor for quite a while; used them in hotels while traveling to spare the houskeeping staff from the details of my disease. Still odor-free 24h later.2020 Update: Bags are still good, but the newest box we purchased were far more transparent than the previous ones so I am having to double-bag for privacy. I wrote the company but they weren't interested in replying. Still a good product otherwise. Feb 202!: I compared one of the new rolls with and old roll I found in a carry-on and the older ones were far more opaque. I hope they switch back.

I have bladder issues and need to use incontinence products (Depends) sometimes. If I am away from home and may not get to a bathroom in time ... well, you get the picture.Obviously disposal of used pads is an important consideration. I look for two things in a disposal bag:1. The bag must be sturdy. No leaks, no odors.2. The bag should ideally be opaque - who wants to look at a used pad, right?These meet one of my two requirements - they are definitely sturdy enough. I tie a knot at the top and don't worry about any leaks or odors. However, they are a little too see-through for me. Not completely clear, but not opaque either.While we're at it, could there be a little nicer name than "Hippo Bags"? My guess is that these are primarily meant to be used by care-providers who don't care about the name or whether they can be seen through.Overall, they work fine and I will use them up but will probably look for something different in the future.

These are a good addition if you have to be in diapers. I take a full used diaper and put it in a bag, then squeeze the air out and seal in the smell with a good tye. These might let a tiny amount of smell out, but seriously do a great job of keeping the smell inside the bag.

Bought to use for kitty litter disposal after buying green bags from same manufacturer. Thought they would be as thick, but are very thin. Have to use 3 bags to equal the thickness of the green bags, so the higher count is a wash. Don't be fooled by the description saying "Odor and Leak Proof with 8 Layer Reinforced Bottom". The 8 layer refers to the gathering at the bottom of the bag. When you fully open the very thin bag, it becomes 1 layer and is only 8 at the small bottom seal. Can't even tell if that seal is really 8 layers. It also is not odor proof. The kitty litter inside can still be smelled after tying the 3 bags used together; still stinks in garbage can. In fairness, have no experience with human waste products as noted in description/title. Will go back to this brand's pet bags which are very thick and same large size for cat litter disposal.
