Animal Colors (Arabic and English Edition)

Great book since it has name and color of animals in Arabic and English. Even if you don't know Arabic, Babies get interested in the book colors. My baby is 6 month old and likes to hold it and look at the bright colors. Rich in many animals and colors.

Sometimes we've bought books for our nephew (his mother speaks Arabic natively, and they want him to be bilingual) and we've found that they are great... except that they still read left to right, we were happy to see this one reads right to left, even in the way the book is bound. Dropped it into my sink by accident, got wet, and it wiped off perfectly, will definitely be looking for more hard page books like these.

Simple book in concept, but nice colors and you can make your conversation with your child about each animal. It's a wonderful book for introducing both Arabic and English to children.

I got this book for my son to teach him arabic since it is my native language. I applaud the effort but the drawings and colors are so boring and pale that my son had no interest at all in the book.

It's such a cute book, but as a non-native Arabic speaker, I cannot read the book to my daughter because it doesn't have the diacritical marks written on the letters. Diacritical marks are really important because they tell you what vowel sounds are in the words. If you are a native speaker, you will already be familiar with the vocabulary so this book is GREAT for you. However,there were some mistakes between the plural and singular forms. For example: there was only 1 "grey elephant" but the plural form (3 or more) was written in Arabic. Also, the "red birds" (showing 3) were written in singular form--can't believe an editor didn't catch this. This is not good if you truly want this book to help your child learn Arabic.

I bought this book as a gift for a baby who's turning 1. The pictures are all babies expressing all different kind of feelings. Super Adorable. Both english/arabic. :)
