The colors are vibrant without looking overly saturated, and it produces that classic film look that is difficult to replicate digitally. The film loaded easily into my camera and advanced smoothly throughout the roll. Once developed, the images had excellent color reproduction, pleasing contrast, and a nice balance between sharpness and grain. Skin tones looked natural, and outdoor photos especially had that warm Kodak character many photographers love. I also found the exposure latitude to be forgiving, which makes this a great option for beginners while still delivering results experienced film shooters can appreciate. Pros: Beautiful, classic Kodak color rendition Natural-looking skin tones Consistent image quality throughout the roll Easy to load and shoot Good balance of sharpness and grain Beginner-friendly exposure latitude Cons: Film and processing costs can add up Availability can be limited depending on the film stock Overall, Kodak film remains popular for a reason. Whether you're new to film photography or have been shooting film for years, it delivers dependable results and a timeless look that keeps me coming back to it. πŸ“· ## Features - 3 pack Kodak Ultra Max 400 Color print film 36 exp. 35mm DX 400 135-36 (108 pics) - Country of Origin:China - Package weight:4.0 lb - Package dimensions:4.32"L x 9.65"W x 19.05"H ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004R4N2B4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #350 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #5 in Photographic Film | | Brand | KODAK | | Color | Basic | | Compatible Camera Film Format Type | 35mm | | Compatible Devices | Camera | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 5,397 Reviews | | Exposure Count | 36 | | Exposures per Roll | 36 | | Film Color | Color | | Film Development Process | Color Negative | | Film Format | 135 | | Film Format Type | 135 | | Global Trade Identification Number | 07038557196498 | | ISO Equivalent | 400 iso | | Iso Range | 400 | | Item Weight | 86 g | | Light Sensitivity | 400 | | Lighting Type | Daylight | | Manufacturer | Kodak Consumer | | Manufacturer Part Number | film | | Media Type | ProductImage | | Model Name | Ultramax 400 | | Model Number | EL-PN-47330644 | | Number of Items | 3 | | Number of Packs | 3 | | Package Size Name | 3 Pack | | Roll Quantity | 3 | | Unit Count | 3 Count | | Warranty Description | MANUFACTURE | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** KODAK - **Exposures per Roll:** 36 - **Film Color:** Color - **Film Format Type:** 135 - **Model Name:** Ultramax 400 ## Images ![Kodak Ultramax 400 Color Print Film 36 Exp. 35mm DX 400 135-36 (108 Pics) (Pack of 3), Basic - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71XD5KnnbbL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Set** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: what is the expiration date of film?** A: The film I received expires 10/2016 **Q: C 41 process?** A: Yeah I believe so. **Q: does this film can be used for different cameras?** A: Universal film for 35mm cameras so long as you can adjust the ASA setting to 400. **Q: I know that each film has a different expiry date, but I would like to know if they are for sure not already expired?** A: The only thing I can say is, the ones I received were not expired and still have another year on them. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best film and iso out there *by L***N on August 31, 2026* Favorite film ever for a really good price, the warm tones are amazing, good exposure and quality of the photos and the lighting is always so perfect ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love to just keep rolls on me at all times! *by L***E on June 19, 2026* Kodak film continues to be one of my favorite choices for both casual photography and more intentional shoots.
