Had a wasps nest where two parts of the roof meet, about 1.5 metres from a window I could lean out of. In my haste to start the massacre, I didn't shake it (and didn't wait until evening either). The liquid came out in a jet and the foam coated the roof around entrance to the nest - wasps went mad and started dying almost immediately. After a couple of applications, I realised I hadn't shaken it as per the instructions, so I did so and tried another application, but this time instead of a jet, it foamed up on leaving the can and would only travel about 1m. Shaking (at least when the can was partially full) seems to have stopped the jet from forming, so might account for a few of the reviews I read saying they had a dud product. Regardless, it's worked very well, the wasps are dead, and I didn't need to get too close.

Totally useless. Nothing like the advertising. The foam stream is very weak and only travels about 12" or so, if you're lucky. It doesn't work, hasn't killed a single wasp, and looks more like the wasps are using it a shaving foam! It also looks like there should be a small pipe to attach to the nozzle to squirt it into the entrance hole of the nest, as there is a small clip on the side of the can. Some people have fedback that it does travel a long distance, whilst others, like myself, report it has a very short range. I can only summise that some have a lack of propellant/gas in the can.

Apt an effective remedy for wasp infestation that is value for money.

Outstanding performance! I used this in my attic to treat a wasp nest. You do need to keep shaking the can during use, but the 3-metre range and strong, direct spray were very effective. For the best results, keep the can upright while spraying. There was virtually no smell, which was a bonus when using it in an enclosed attic space. The foam expands like shaving cream, so it quickly covered the nest, and the powerful stream of liquid broke through it with ease. To be fair, the nest wasn't huge , about the size of a football. The nest entrance was tucked away in the corner of the attic, so I bought two cans just in case the wasps became aggressive. In the end, the application was straightforward and I only needed one can. The only thing to be aware of is that any loose or flying wasps can be difficult to hit, as this is a focused, direct spray rather than a wide mist. And you have to keep the can upright and shake regular to get the jet spray The effect is quick and within 10 for them to die and then about 1 hour later no activity on the outside of the house at all. will check in 24 hours Overall, I'd definitely recommend it. I'll upload a few photos to show the results.

Having had a roof tiler refuse to continue his work after discovering wasps (nest) in 'eaves', I resorted to this because of its claims about 'throw' (4 metres!?) I'd read the poor reviews dismissing this claim but for £8 thought I'd try it. First issue was the instructions which apart from stating to shake container, there was no indication as to how much. I decided to shake for (several) minutes but there was no 'feel' like something inside moving. For contrast I've used spray paint and in them you can hear (& 'feel movement') of a ball bearing but not with this aerosol. I was using the can 'up a ladder' (not recommended) and required about a 1-2 metre 'throw' but whilst there was an intitial 'burst' most fell well short and landed on roof tiles leaving a residue... see photo. I'm hoping this disappears with rain! A few days later, I tried again with more success because(?) the emptier can was easier to shake ..... I could hear (& felt) a difference from the first 'full' attempts. The 2nd photo shows how more successful this attempt was. I don't yet know the outcome but it was obvious this time that wasps couldn't 'get in'! I should also add that there were a number of dead wasps on the roof tiles where the 'previous residue' had landed so it does seem that this foam does kill wasps effectively. IF the manufacturer could achieve the 'throw' it advertised, this would be a great (5*) product but as it is, I find it difficult to recommend. UPDATE: Disappointingly, the "foam accumulation" (created on my 2nd use of aerosol & shown in photo) disappeared(?) all too quickly and wasps continued to gain access. I feel that there has been a (slight) reduction in wasp numbers but worryingly, they now seem to be exploring other places nearby so I might just have shifted the problem! If the aerosol allows, I'll give it another go. UPDATE 2: Having discovered that this aerosol seemed to work better (longer 'foam throw') with longer shaking of can, and that this was easier to achieve as the canister became emptier .... 2nd, 3rd .... uses. I tried once more, with greater success but it was still difficult to sustain the 'foam throw' distance in order to achieve a satisfactory blockage of the 'wasp ingress hole'. Today I had someone around who removed some of the 'roof wood' allowing access to the eaves. They discovered that whilst wasps were still 'active', that activity had seriously diminished and there was a very large number of dead wasps so some success! Based on my experience, I continue to believe that with better design (& instructions) this could be a very good product and I would buy it again IF the wasp nest was visible rather than as in my case, being 'hidden'. I've increased my rating from 2 to 3*

Excellent product. Really impressed with it. I have a 6.5ft tall hedge and was stung on the arm by a wasp while trimming it a couple of weeks ago. When I went back to the hedge a little later, I noticed quite a few wasps flying in and out of it in one particular spot and could see a fairly large wasp nest and the entry hole built about a foot inside the hedge. I ordered this product from Amazon because not only was it one of the cheapest for the size of the contents but it produces a strong jet of wasp-killing foam that can be sprayed in and on a nest from a reasonably safe distance without having to get really close. After giving it a good shake as per the instructions, I sprayed the jet of foam directly into the entrance of the nest from about 5ft away until the foam covered the whole entrance before I beat a hasty retreat indoors. I went out and checked it half an hour later and by then there were scores of dead wasps on the ground and the bottom of the nest had disintegrated and collapsed after the foam had turned to liquid and soaked it. There were still some wasps who had not been in the nest flying in and around it despite the damage to it so I sprayed the foam again ensuring it covered every inch of the exposed insides and another bunch of wasps fell onto the floor dying or dead. The next day I sprayed the remains of the nest once more and it totally disintegrated. No more nest, no more wasps. It worked really well for me and there is still plenty left in the can for future use if required. Recommended.

So I have had to kill two wasp nests in the garden. One last year, one this year. The first was in tge ground in our greenhouse. A bit easier to kill than this year’s. I didn’t shake the can at all, and a powerful jet hit the entrance. Any wasps that did fly got hit by the wasp spray from the same firm in my left hand. Dead after one application. Jet foamed on impact - very effective. This year the nest was built into a plant, and harder to hit the entrance. I cut the plant back prior to spraying. Sadly, I DID shake the can, and this means it foams instead of jets out of the can with less range and accuracy. If you have shaken the can, wait until later before spraying. One key suggestion - but two cans of killer foam. It suggests on the can you spray for up to 12 seconds to kill a nest. If you have two cans spraying at one, you only have to spray for 6 seconds (just saying). Make SURE you hit the entrance to the nest. If the nest isn’t completely dead, spray during the day next time when the wasps are active. You want them to get foamed! This year’s nest was resilient, but determination eventually killed it. The foam does work. Buy two at once, or four if you want to be ready for next year too! If you don’t shake the can, you can stand far enough away and still be accurate.

I ordered this in addition to the powder product. The powder never turned up (refund provided) so this was used instead. I got 4 'doses' on the wasp nest and it did nothing. The wasps were still there. Also, the product is £4.50 cheaper in my local garden centre - that was a surprise! So I got some of the powder from the garden centre (that never arrived from Amazon!) and did the job with one dose. Waste of money in my experience.
