I purchased this due to the description. It said thin , flat pillow. The pillows seem to inflate and have to deflate to get them to be thin and flat. I simply can't use them as I don't want to go through the deflation.I think they are pretty nice pillows, just not s good fit for me. I guess everyone has a different definition of what thin and flat mean.

I originally ordered these pillows from Bed Bath and Beyond, online, but, are no longer available. One needs to be washed so badly, but, I don’t want to be without it, even for 1 night. I wasn’t sure if these were the same, and they are!!! The 2nd one that came with the first set, got shoved into a closet and became terribly mishapened. I like the gussets on Al 4 sides. It’s low profile, but, has the perfect amount of filling,so it’s not completely flat. When I lie on my back, an put my head on the pillow, there’s just enough “give” to have a slight lift. My head doesn’t get swallowed by the pillow either, which I like. I also like that it can “squished under my neck to give me just enough support. To me, this is the perfect pillow. Sometimes it can be folded in half Iike “hotdog roll, an slid under my neck, although, I prefer to squish it. I hope this long winded review helps in your decision making.

These pillows feel cheap. I will not use them. Just going to throw them in a closet or donate them.

I like the pillow. This is a hard thing to rate. Something you have to just buy and see if it fits your needs.

I had a hard time rating these pillows -- I wanted to give them only three stars, but realized that wasn't really fair because they really are nice pillows. You know how sometimes you meet a guy who's truly amazing, but something about his lifestyle (or whatever) makes him incompatible with you? I mean, he's actually a fantastic person that's just a bad match for you, so you find yourself talking him up to your friend...giving him basically a five-star rating...that's what this pillow is like. The BioPEDIC feels like a luxury pillow to me. It is definitely low-profile at maybe a 4" height, with a gusset around the edge and the lightest, softest fill I've ever slept on. And maybe this is a good thing for you, but this is marketed to stomach sleepers, and that light fill ends up compressing completely under your head, and then floofing out around the sides so it puffs up in front of your face and behind your head. Not good. Most of the stomach sleepers I know want a thin, flat, supportive pillow that won't suffocate us. That's part of the reason down pillows are problematic, because they do exactly the same thing where your head hits the mattress, while the pillow sides suffocate you. Now, I must say, that this pillow is very foldable. These would be a godsend to have in hotels because I CAN make them work by folding the edge and sleeping on the folded edge, which ends up compressing to maybe 1.5" once your head is on it. Doing this every night at home just wasn't working for me, though, so they will be relegated to the guest room.

This pillow would be great if you didn't expect it to match the description. In fairness, it IS a pillow. But I only sleep with flat pillows and this barely started off flat. Kind of flat-ish. Within a month or two the fill on this pillow had decided flat was just one of many shape options it could choose from and it became a bunged-up, "maybe there's a small dog inside this pillow" shape. And stayed that way. I tried to reshape it. No luck. Ultimately I had to cut one end open, removed a full half of the cheap foam inside, take what was left and rip THAT into small pieces and now I have a more flat, ripped-open pillow that should have cost $2.

I had previously purchased two other sets of "flat" pillows that turned out to be so far from flat it was like a bad joke. These are not literally flat, they are comfortable and soft and just thin enough for our needs. I take care of my daughter who is bedridden and I purchased pillow after pillow but they were all too thick and made her neck terribly uncomfortable and had her chin nearly touching her chest. Then I ordered this set and finally she has the perfect pillow. Her neck and back are aligned in a comfortable way now and she no longer complains of neck pain. They are soft and hold their shape very well. I am so thankful to finally have found the right pillow for her needs.

We finally decided to changed our old flat pillows (3/4 to 1 inch) and honnestly I bought these because of the bad reviews. And they’re all right, but stick with me here : these are super fluff at first but when you lay your head on it, they become super thin while remaining fluffy and comfortable, which is perfect for stomach sleepers. I personally hate thick pillows that leave you with neck pain in the morning.I even get the review saying it feels like you’re suffocating because your head really drops in the pillow if that makes sense. Although, personnally a little adjusting did the trick and it simply was super soft and comfortable. I’ve had the best night sleep in years and so did my partner. Which is saying a lot because he doesn’t do well with changes.

Not bad.. still on my search for the best pillow

I was looking for a low profile, flat pillow to boost the height of my cooling pillow…this did the job very well. Not a quality pillow but great for what I wanted.

I needed a thinner pillow and these are great!

I have issues with my neck and this profile is perfect with good support. It's so hard to find allow profile pillow that isn't garbage or expensive.
