Lefty Fountain Pen Love
I love writing, but have trouble with some fountain pens since I am a lefty. I already have a Lamy Vista fountain pen with a medium nib and it’s a great pen, I’ve really enjoyed using it. I had never seen a left-handed specific fountain pen nib, and then I found that Lamy makes one, so I purchased it (also in the Vista style because I love being able to see the ink!). It is SO amazing! The flow of the nib across paper, it just glides. I will definitely be using it more and more! Lamy has excellent quality products and I will continue to purchase from this brand.

writes nicely
it's been hit and miss for me with lamy fountain pens and this one I received is great. it's EF with the ink cartridge it came with but when paired with a converter and some parker ink it writes more like a MF compared to Japanese fountain pens. this was expected though. no skipping in writing, no leakage, cute pink pen. very light and smooth.

Great for Left Handed Script Writing
I love this pen! I'm a sketchbook fanatic. I write notes, draw and keep track of my life in my small sketchbook. This pen works great for that. I have very good cursive handwriting, rare for a lefty, and this keeps up with speed writing notes in a sketchbook. I have a converter so that I can fill it with ink without messing with cartridges. This pen writes smoothly, rarely scratches even on heavy watercolor paper and can take some pretty tough use. I think the left handed nib helps it write more evenly without catching on an edge...it feels more polished. It takes a ton of abuse...I'm not nice to it. The only problem is that this is my second one...I leave them places.

Great fountain pen
Writes very smoothly - purchased this as a food illustrator/watercolor artist I follow uses this pen to write. I like how you can interchange inks using a converter. Very lightweight - almost feels cheap since the casing is plastic but I like it!

A very good pen for the price
I purchased this pen for nearly 50% off the original retail price, and I could not be happier. It writes well and with interchangeable nibs, you can't go wrong. People often comment on the style of the pen, both the white color and the nature of the fountain pen. All in all, it has been a great purchase. There are a few drawbacks though, none of which spoil the overall quality:First, the size of the pen is a bit too big. When you place the cap on the top side of the pen (as shown in the photograph) it become a giant writing instrument. This is a purely aesthetic issue and does nothing to stop the quality of writing, but it is not my kind of style. I would prefer something sleeker.Secondly, I am not a fan of the standard Lamy ink and I immediately went to another Internet retailer to buy other kinds. I think someone who is purchasing a fountain pen will also have a discerning eye for the quality and style of their ink, and Lamy Blue is just a bit too bland.Overall, this pen is unbeatable for the price especially if you have your own selection of inks to choose from.

Love these pens
I now own a handful of Lamy pens, I love the looks and the fact you don't just throw them away when they are empty. Thank goodness for the refillable ink cartridges <3Only thing I'll say is about the color of the pink. I guess I was expecting a bit more pearl like pink. When it arrived, it was a standard powder pink, still cute. I paired it with a pink ink and I'm off to the races :3

So very happy
I have had a minor obsession with fountain pens for many years. But I have always struggled because they would stop working after a few days. I learned how to clean and adjust them but they never quite worked well after a few days. I'm left handed and I think that is some of the issue - pushing the nib vs pulling the nib across the paper. I found one of my older non-working pens and got the bug again to use one. I did some research on intro pens and the Lamy Safari and Vista seemed like a good logical choice. And when I looked, I saw there was a version with a left handed nib. Reviews on the nib are mixed but I wanted to give it a try.I am happy to inform you that this Lamy Vista with the LH (left hand) nib is working like a charm! I am loving it. No skipping lines. A smooth line all the time. And the ink in the included cartridge is fast drying compared to others I've tried. Which means less smearing - actually have yet to unintentionally smear which was a frustration previously with my attempts to join the fountain pen obsession. I'm almost out of ink in the cartridge and bought a converter and Lamy blue ink to refill it with.My only negative view is the grip. I'm getting used to the 3 sided grip and it does help to keep me from rolling the pen as I write (another interesting phenomenon uncovered). But that is the only negative and it's now really a non issue. If you are new to fountain pens, I highly recommend giving the Lamy Vista or Safari a go.

Great Pen!
My Lamy Safari White Fine Point Fountain Pen was one of the best purchases I've made pen wise in a long time. I have issues writing with normal pens, my hand cramps up from some problems, but with the fountain pen, it doesn't require me to have a tight grip or press quite as hard to write. This pen is a wonderful purchase, very sleek looking in its white exterior. I've used it to write at least fifteen different letters. Easy to refill with the converter I bought, but since I have a rich dark purple ink, I have to be careful it doesn't stain the white pen casing by the nib.Would highly recommend Lamy Safari pens, they're great writing utensils!!!

This is the genuine article!
My pen arrived early, and was well packaged. I had real concerns about the possibility of receiving a knock- off, but I'm confident that this pen is the genuine article, a Lamy Safari EF manufactured in Germany. It's a quality pen, and it writes beautifully! I would definitely buy from this seller again.

It’s a lamy
It’s a lamy what can I say. They provide good serviceable fountain pens at affordable prices. Only have four stars as I would like waterproof ink and I’m unable to find waterproof carts to fit this pen.
