Karbid Blade Leman SPEEDWOOD for Angle Grinder Diameter 115 x 22.23 mm

For gouging out bowls, especially in hardwood, I've tried using a Carbide Rasp for my grinder, and it made a smooth cut but tended to burn and clog. This think will never clog, properly used will not readily burn, and is fast, fast, fast. The sawdust is more like fine chisel chips. It is a bit intimidating because of how well it cuts, but it cuts like nothing else I've tried.

I'm using this alongside my chainsaw for a large outdoor carving. I also have the Kutzall extreme shaping disc. This Leman disc eats through wood a whole lot faster than the Kutzall disc. Very impressed with it's performance, especially for the price. I've put about 15 hours of cutting on the disc and have not noticed a decline in it's sharpness.

Worked great for sculpting redwood. It removes wood effortlessly. The only things you have to be mindful of are the gyroscopic effect due to the high speed rotation (true for any case with an angle grinder) and you should wear gloves since the size of the wood pieces varies and they sting when they hit the hand you are holding the grinder with.

This product work very well on my angle grinder. It is a little unsafe because angle grinders are not meant for wood cutting purposes. But with a little positive control this would work on any grinder.
