General
Only gave 4 stars because it comes with 2 belt side bearings. It should state that in the listing. You have to get the brush side smaller bearing separate.

Correct bearing for the DeWalt 718
My DeWalt 718 miter saw started to make some pretty horrible noises. Tracked it down to this bearing in the motor. Makes sense...all of the belt tension is placed on the front bearing. Thirteen years later, it had given all it had to give.This is the correct bearing for the 718. Fit perfectly and the saw runs like new.

Help with your recommendations
I ordered an armature for a saw. Amazon recommended that I buy these bearings to go with the armature . After receiving everything , I realized that the bearings were included with the armature . One bearing was smaller. These recommended bearings were 2 of only 1 of the sizes that this armature uses. If they are sold as a kit, maybe they should bepaired with the matching bearing. I guess I should of investigated further before I made the wrong purchase of these bearings, but it would be helpful if amazon only recommended parts which would be missing when I order something

proper fit
These are the right bearings for the Dewalt 718 compound mitre saw. 2 bearings probably aren't necessary, but a spare is good to have.

My Bad
The order process was fine. The product arrived on time and as ordered. Unfortunately, as I explained when I returned the merchandise, I misread the description on the parts list and ordered the wrong bearings, so I don't know how they perform, I only know that they didn't fit my saw.

I wasn't expecting two of the same bearing, I thought it was a set. Also for 35 plus dollars, it's too expensive, if I'd known what the bearing number is, I would have gotten it elsewhere. They usually go for around 6 bucks a piece.
