ZIWI Peak Grain Free Cat Food Tins - All Natural High Protein Pate - New Zealand Mackerel & Lamb Recipe - 24 x 85g Multipack

Dear Felines of the World, We are writing this review to issue a formal, tail-wagging apology. Our human—who is usually quite sharp with the Māori principle of Kaitiaki (environmental guardianship)—made a grave error 🤦‍♂️. She accidentally bought the ZIWI Peak Mackerel & Lamb meant for you and gave it to us! As dedicated raw-feeders who normally dine on fresh meat and bone, we have a few "critical" barks on why this cat-specific formula became our favourite accidental heist: • The "Raw" Identity Crisis 🧬: While humans argue over whether air-drying "cooks out" the living enzymes (as advocate Rodney Habib suggests), we just think it tastes like the world’s most expensive jerky. It’s miles ahead of standard kibble! • The Training Cheat-Code 🎓: Our human uses these squares for what Dr. Ian Dunbar calls "lure-reward" training. They are the perfect size for snuffle mats and way less messy than raw tripe! • The "Kitty Crack" Close Call 💸: For a moment, our human saw the price of this 400g bag and considered a permanent switch to kitty treats because they seemed a bit cheaper. Don’t panic! 😱 We staged an intervention and persuaded her to buy the bigger, more economical bags of ZIWI Peak Dog Cuisine instead. 🦁 Unleash Your Inner Lion (and Save the Birds!) 🐦 Since you felines aren't quite as "domesticated" as us dogs, you deserve to express your natural hunting instincts! 🐈‍⬛ We highly recommend your owners hide these pieces in puzzle feeders or "indoor hunting" toys. 🧩🐭 Doggy Fact Check: Research from the University of Exeter shows that cats fed a high-meat, grain-free diet—just like this ZIWI recipe—actually bring home 36% fewer wild animals. By getting all your essential nutrients from this "meaty booty," you’ll feel less need to terrorise the local birds and squirrels! It’s a win for your belly and a win for the garden wildlife. 🌳🐾 ⚠️ A Wagging Warning: How to Avoid "Fat-Fat" Syndrome ⚖️ Listen up: this stuff is 96% meat and organs and incredibly calorie-dense. If you eat this like regular kibble, you'll be "fat-fats" in no time! 😹 Use the ZIWI Peak Feeding Calculator to keep your zoomies fast! 🏃‍♂️💨 ✨ Tech-Savvy Tip! For owners with gadgets: these squares work perfectly in the PetCube camera's treat tosser for mess-free remote rewards! The Verdict: We’ve finished the cat pouch, and while it was a 5-star supplement, we are leaving the rest of the "kitty crack" to you! We’re moving back to the big dog bags!

I use this as a topper with the ziwipeak wet cat food. Very good quality and my cats love it!

This has the best ratios of protein and fats to volume/weight of all the more ethical dry cat foods I can find in the UK. A bit spendy but I rotate it with a couple of other brands across the day/week. so my cats get the benefit but also the variety. Obviously they have wet food alongside as well to ensure adequate hydration and to give them more variety in meats and fish... but basically it's a fantastic product if you can afford it. As there's often crumbs left in the bottom of the bag, save those in a small pot to use as a topper for wet food to avoid waste (of the lambs' life)!

I bought this product for my two kittens after doing some research into top food brands. They are usually very picky so to find a food that they would gulp down straight away has been a challenge. Unfortunately the contents of the packet had been bashed around so much that it had turned very dusty but the bits that i could salvage went down a treat with the kittens. It is quite expensive for not a lot of product so to have to throw most of it away was a shame. Would like to buy again but worried that it might come in the same condition again and that I would have to throw most of it away again.

My cats favorite licky snack. Great for freezing at summer too.

The composition of this food is very, very good, but unfortunately my three cats, none of them want to eat it. I would advise you to buy a small amount to check if your cat will eat it.

Made my cat really sick. He was fine until I started him on this food and now he’s struggled to keep down dry food for weeks. He started vomiting within hours of eating it every time, and then vomiting for a day or so after it as it would upset his stomach so badly. I’ve spoken with a vet and he’s nearly recovered since changing his diet again, but the repercussions of this wet food has had long-term impacts on him. Very unhappy.

ZIWI PEAK probably is the best cat food in the world, but my cat doesn't rly like their wet food, he prefer their dry food.

This is a great product, amazing food quality. My cat seems to be on early stages of diabetes and he wants to eat human food and fights you for it, as soon as I changed his food to ZiwiPeak major change, he’s calm down and he isn’t trying to eat human food anymore. A major accomplishment.

Emballage, livraison... Parfaits. Article parfait, mon chat adore.

This is one of the best washbasins!

My kittehs love this. Shinier coats. Healthier gums. Happier and frolicky kittehs. Wish I’d bought this stuff sooner. It’s the only food I buy for my purrkids now❣️
