I ordered 4 packs of the Hama cases, boxed. One of the 20 cases, had a big crack down the front cover. Compared to the cheap identical cases on Amazon - these are better quality for sure. With free delivery, Hama cases cost 79p each. The last cases I bought on Amazon cost 68p each. The issue with the cheaper loose 68p cases was, they are more flimsy. The front cover has much more unwelcome flex. Which can create opening and closing issues. But worse than that, many of the cheaper cases had scratched fronts, rears, or both. Not what you want when you buy new. So bad were some, they were more scratched than the cases I chose to replace! After getting them I had to swap the scratched parts out, so I could be left with less-scratched complete cases. Then I photographed all the ones that were scratched front and rear, or cracked, and contacted the seller for a part refund due to this. I think from memory, from 25, 8 had to be refunded. The seller was good tbf. So, from the 25 I bought - I then didn't have enough. So, IMHO Hama is worth the little bit extra you pay. Are they the same quality as the original OEM cases that CD's come in new? No, of course not. But my opinion still stands, they're an improvement over the flimsy cheap loose ones. At least the Hama brand looked new, as each one has a sealed clear jacket fitted and each pack of 5 came in their own retail packing box. Much better care was taken with them after manufacture in the factory. Hope this helps.

Annoying that 5 is the lowest you can buy because I only needed 1. However these where cheap and good quality

Unlike others, I am lucky that none of my cases came cracked or damage as the delivery person handed the package to me directly. The cases were shiny and new with only a few scuff marks here and there, but nothing major. It also comes with an insert that you can write the tracklist on which is nice. However only the first case had this insert, so if you’re making a lot of custom CDs, you’ll have to make your own inserts. There is space behind the disk slot to put a back cover on, but I’m not quite sure how to remove the disc slot without damaging it. In any case, it does a fine job of keeping my CDs safe, and makes a great replacement case for one of my old CD’s cases that had gotten quite marked up and scratched. Would purchase again.

Two had light scratches on the front of the case and one had a small crack. The material is delicate and flimsy. Overall decent value for money.

Well made cases, the clear plastic means that you can put a CD ad recognise it without having the original cover - I was able to recycle a lot of CD's to a local charity shop

I have got these a few times and although they are as good quality as original cases sometimes some of them will have some cracks on some parts. Sometimes they will all be good. Therefore I have changed my review from 5 to 4 stars. In the last pack of 5 that I got 1 had a crack on the front cover. They are wrapped tight in plastic film showing the manufacturer on a label on the front which helps protect them but sometimes they are also wrapped in bubble wrap and sometimes they are not. I will still order these again and they are the best replacement cases I have found and I have not found this type of cases in the shops anymore.

Bought these as I have a few CDs that had cracked and/or broken cases. Transferred the inlays front and back, and the CDs, to these and they are great. My CDs look like new again. Very good quality, and are indistinguishable from the CD cases that came with the albums I was replacing with these. Highly recommended if you need CD cases for any reason.
