6 5/8" Cast Iron Floor Drain Cover

Check your size very carefully this is slightly larger than what I thought I measured but the problem could be on my end. The stuff at the hardware store like Lowes is plastic. The slightly off size I was able to deal with but I assume it's made in China and I am always paranoid about their quality assurance since I heard all the debacles over contaminated fish and dog food that killed dogs and dry wall in homes that the home had to abandoned , the list is endless and as far as the eye can see. You see my point about China. Oh almost forgot their stuff breaks right on the mark of the warranty expiration. They got that pretty good so they can make money on the next. I found this to be true with microwaves and stop watches but here again the list is endless.

I ordered the wrong size nut it worked OK. I should have ordered the 6 1/2 size, so take care when measuring.

This floor drain fit perfectly.

This is a perfect fit and the cast iron is a bit thicker than the 40 year old cover it replaced. Worth the shipping cost. Do measure carefully. These things come in several "standard" sizes.

Bought this for the floor drain of my garage (built in late 1960's). Measure the one you have to make sure it fits. This floor drain cover isn't very thick, but it works well and the price is good. Much better than a plastic one. If it rusts out eventually, just buy another one, they are cheap.
