Made in the USA from a compound of acrylic and liquid inlay, this is a fine material for making your custom knife handle. Make sure your tools are sharp and drill slowly to avoid tear out (it's helpful to have a scrap piece to receive the bit when drilling). Each item is selected for its unique inlay pattern, and is one of a kind. The four blocks shown in the image have had one side lightly buffed to illustrate the diversity of appearance among different blocks. Product sold is one single block, without this buffing.

They come rough cut and need to be sandy and polished
Bought this for a knife I made for my son, came packed nice , it was really rough looking when I took them out the saw cuts on them were really bad and I wasn’t sure I had gotten what I had ordered but after sanding them down and polishing they look amazing! If your going to buy them remember they are not finished or even close and will have to be sanded and polish to look like the picture , I would recommend them for any handle projects they do look amazing when sanded and polished

Good quality.
No strength test yet, but everything seems well with these scales, I do not know how these are produced but I assume I got an end peice, one side had some small air bubbles I had to sand through. Other then that everything was well. Will buy again if they seem durable in testing.

Beautiful Acrylic
This is a very beautiful acrylic but the 2 pieces I got were very much different. One side was mostly yellow and the other was mostly purple. I’m sure it’s just the way they were mixed. Still looks good but they just don’t seem to match as well as I hoped.

Maybe for decorative items only.
Was disappointed in how fragile these pieces are. One side ended up cracking while trying to put a pin in. Very frustrating. Don’t expect epoxy quality. Would not recommend for an everyday use item. Only a decorative, no one touches, item.

You won't find better ones
Have been buying these scales now for 2 years... they are rough when you get them in the mail... but you have to sand, grind and polish... I polish all the way to 200000 grit... you will not be be disappointed. Make sure you drill fast speed... barely pressure and just treat it gentle... use liners to make it POP... make sure to wear mask and any other protective gear you need... love the product

Garbage
One of the scales I got was clearly part of the top layer of the mold because it’s full of air bubbles (which I understand), but it’s also full of debris. It’s like somebody dumped a bunch of what looks like plastic shavings on the mold as it was curing. Hopefully I can grind through all of this, otherwise it was just a waste of money. Whoever is making this stuff needs to put a little more effort into cleanliness and quality.
